if i remember correctly you have to right click on the nightmist.exe in your nightmist folder and give the program admin status which will allow it to access the registry
windows vista is all about security however it takes things a bit far

That's right but the main problem is that the server won't let me in 
What else would you suggest me to do in order to solve this problem?

I have tried every possible option that came to my mind, whether its using alternative port, alternative DNS, disabling email scanner, re-installing nightmist and / or closing everything that was running. So I don't see any other reason why I can't log in, unless some IPs or servers are banned or blocked by the server 
. In which case, it would be nice to know which countries IPs are blocked by the server.
