I go afk on my crits right, to like go do something for a minute.
When i get back, I find theyve died of hunger and gone back to their local.
What about an alarm, maybe just a beep (as you get when receiving a page) just to tell you its feeding time?

Has The Server Been Down All Day Or Is It My Pc?
14 August 2004 - 07:16 PM
Well long story short....nm cant find the server.
I thought it was unlikely its been down all day cos I havent seen any threads indicating ppl are pissed off about it, so i thought that one was out.
MSN isnt working either, is it something to do with my PC (im back on my laptop now, and i cant be arsed to check on my desktop, all the way downstairs...)
i have disabled the built-in XP firewall btw, before anyone tells me that is the fault....
thanks ahead....

Skin Testing Environment
14 August 2004 - 05:53 PM
HI, well i just saw a thread on making skins in here, someone was struggling, and I thought "well what if we could test out new skins without being connected to the internet?"
I propose something simple....
1.Take the client project in vb.
2.delete all forms except the main one
3.delete all code except that that loads up skins
4.add a menu option to load a new skin
voila. a skin testing environment
this will far simplify the making of skins, and will therefore allow even AOLers to manage it

New In-forum Feature

When im browsing through a board on this forum (eg. suggestions), i get loads of indescriptive title that mean ntohing to me, i select from those the ones that sound interesting, but how can i be sure they will be?
my suggestion is you alter the PHP to get the first post of each thread (or even the first line) via altering the mysql query. then it would be displayed via editing the anchor to be as follows
<a href="link" title="first line of the post going here.....">
then all we would have to do is hover over it to get a taster.
NB. to increase the chances of this getting through, i will offer step-by-step instructions to edit it, should you require them.
