Are complaints about dominant clans new? For a long time it was MD. I have to admit I liked back when I was in LS which was strong at the time and had some good fights vs. MD. Clans don't need to be evenly matched for great battles but, it helps if they can at least compete.
Some really complain about the theives in Pande.....why? If certain Mages/Druids came back or were allowed back, I think MD could still give Pande good competition. The demise of MD opened up a huge vacuum.
Most often clans that have the majority of the elite hitters have all the ego problems. Historically they splinter to some degree. The fact that Pande has retained so many for this long is a tribute to that clan. True leadership is needed to hold on to that for any length of time. I salute Pande for cooperating among themselves and restraining egos that might otherwise wish to "lord their superiority" over the rest of the commoners. I don't see a lot of name calling over there. That helps.
The whole Pande dominance thing did have one predictable outcome. With MD no longer being the "Great Evil" we all loved to hate, the pk'rs in Pande were bound to get bored and want to look for fresh meat. Predictably, Pande began to drop alliances with many clans to open more pk opportunities. This is to include my clan unfortunately. Ðèpth§ õf HãÐè§ has long enjoyed a close alliance with Pande. I have personally went on many of their token and emerald dagger runs. Now.......Pk's on my clan have already gone up.
How do I deal with it? Try to train more and in different places. Try to recruit more aggressively. Help my people level. I also still have friends in Pande. I used to have good friends in MD that I never would hit or be hit by. I guess I'll take that past experience and apply it here. I have already been on a run with a clan that wants to be Pande's rival. Whenever Pande offers a joint run.......I'll take it when I have time to commit.
I'll embrace friendships offered and do my best to fight whomever the new "great evil" might be. I've been hunted before by a dominant clan and done alright. If Pande comes after my clan and I, then we will have to deal as best we can and ally were possible. I already personally expressed my disappointment over losing an alliance with Pande, a clan filled with many of my friends. What you won't see me do is continually cry about it, or attack their real life personalities.

If you're training on sentry spiders like that, you won't be able to afford a DOTW any time soon. Saying it unbalances the game gold wise is laughable. It is a way to gain exp. and few k gold when you don't have friendlies online to train with. When you are fairly new and bigger clans won't let you in, you gotta get your foothold somehow. Also, giving people a way to train some solo keeps them online until more log on. Otherwise, people log on and see nobody and go to an alternative game or entertainment. If ur solo training ur fellow clanmate/friend can message you and you can find more efficient ways of getting gold, exp, and drops. Not many cool drops off of sentry spiders. One good thing about spiders is it is somewhat safe and another place to train when you get bored somewhere else.
As for being too powerful, when will this end? First clerics were too powerful and then healers got dealt a stiff obstacle. Especially paladins. Druids took a hit on camo. Then everyone cried about mages. Let me tell ya.......mage training in the hedges will rack up far more gold than you will ever get on sentry spiders. Now there's spell absorb and no hit and running from Silversail and a whole host of people whining about mages. In fact, it is probably the mages getting clicked in the Hedges that really are thinking thieves are too strong. Evidently, a certain thief is starting fires and really burning down those hedges. Good for him.
Who will be too powerful next? Zerks? When you get to a high level they can click most classes. How about we cry about rangers. They can use hypno which can in certain spots mirror the hit and runnnig. Truly that must be unfair!! Maybe the unfair lobby will go back to druids. Afterall, a pimped druid will have great armor, good wis., and spell absorb trinkets all over him. His camo still lasts too long and high level druids can dish out heavy damage while morphed. Tracking.....that must be cheating right?
I think the best solution is to add another class of crit or race. Necromancer? Lizardman? Then we could all cry about them being too strong. Clearly, we will run out of classes to whine about eventually. Why not start new ones now while there's still time. ROFL!

- did you enjoy the quest?I hope you guys are all enjoying the halloween quest, alot of time went into it on my part! What i'm looking for is a post from everyone who has taken part. Explaining the following things:
Every bit of feedback is helpful! Both good and bad! I need to get working with christmas so if you wish to post item idea like you did with halloween feel free!
No.
- what didn't you like?
Losing massive experience due to getting trapped by ktp monsters that beam does 1 hp. damage on while exploring the maze. Exploring again cuz u changed the boss locations. All the work of learning was wasted. That took the value of all my work to learn it the first time. Also, losing all that exp. and gold used for pots/mana took the value out of the effort used to make it.
- how do you feel about the drops?
Nice drops. Sour grapes and jealousy on my part since I spent so much time/exp./gold and got 0!
There is nothing worse than when the rules change. Or your map randomly changes and kills the players. It makes the rules look arbitrary and subject to the whim of the rulesmaker.
What else did I not like? I killed several bosses between my crits and didn't get one drop!
Newer players get nothing, they wouldn't stand a chance.
- are you pissed about absorb?
Well, it doesn't look horrible so far. The ones that got tons of drops I've still managed to pk spell absorb or not. I am pissed that they got lots of drops somehow. I am concerned that they might be able to wear too many spell absorbs and unbalance things between mage vs. mage.
- what did you like?
The ghost of players was really cool. It was fun killing the ghosts of those I didn't like and fun seeing the ones of my friends. The maze concept and ghost markers was good.(not the changing part though)
- how would you have improved the workings of the quest?
Staff acts like they want to attract new players. Would be nice if there was a lower level capped area where a newb might survive. I'd also do away with mid-quest changes that kill people.
