Bract dismounted to walk dusk into the city. He nods to Ulantees and takes his arm, “Though, our end paths are the same; or very similar.” He says in a deep, solemn voice.
The moment is disrupted by the angry steed bursting fire and charging into the city, “What the…” Bract exclaims.
A Nightmare, charging into the city… Argh! Ever since I arrived back here, into this kingdom, it’s been like a freakish nightmare. Nightmare – he chuckles at the unintentional pun.
With a sigh he briskly walks Dusk within the city walls, grabs a stable boy, and handing him a generous portion of gold instructs “Just provide her with a place to rest, food, and water – and leave her be. Understand?”
The boy nods with a fearful look in his eyes, “Uh huh” he stammers out as he quickly takes the gold and leads Dusk off to the stables.
Turning back, Bract returns to his companions and, his eyes returning to the fading trail of smoke, “I ‘have’ to see what this is about.” He says more as a question than a statement, “Perhaps our paths do not part just yet.” He finishes, waiting to see of they, too, need to see where this trail ends.

As the sun approaches high noon, Bract awakens to Dusk’s snout prodding him. Looking around while quickly strapping on his new leather vest and sword belts, he spots two travelers on the road, “Right on time.” he says quietly to himself.
Mounting Dusk, he quickly rides out to join them. “The ‘runnaway’ never came by this route; he’s either used an alternate path into the city, or he found some trouble in the forests on the way here.” He says as the trio approaches the city gates of Karfendale.

OOC: My apologies, I wasn't suggesting anyone be excluded from the story at all. I have no doubt we'll meet up, just when and where. I've considered mentioning this before, one of Bracts 'character flaws' is his crude interaction with others, leaving him shunned frequently. As such, he doesn't depend on others; hence he won't wait (and I may be a bit impatient to catch up the time-frame - sorry for that).
Also, it has seemed to me that the King's Castle is in Karfendale (or adjacent to it), so Galeb is already inside the city (as I see it, though there's plenty of room for it to be either way - good idea to get it cleared up now).
Again, I don't mean any disrepect to Bean or Deval, I think our little section of the story is going quite nicely really. /OOC

OOC: Come on Silver (you're killing me), read the posts - Bremen isn't is his room... I didn't misunderstand it with only a cursory skim of the post... /OOC...I have to warn the others here, Bremen told the lead Eagle, then rushed downstairs.
"Galeb is comeing!" he shouted.

OOC: The soldier was given a chance to avoid the encounter, and did, so I’m waiting for Bean and/or Aladar to show. If neither does within a reasonable length of time, I’ll move on without. /OOC
As the sun begins to peak over the horizen, setting the sparcely clouded sky ablaze, Bract resigns to the fact that his advasary has escaped him. Finding a good spot to rest, Bract leaves Dusk to watch over him as he sleeps.
