I have always been a die-hard original ut payer, refusing to try the newer versions. I just played ut 2004 for the first time a few days ago and thought I'd say for anyone else who just plays the original, (a lot of people I know do), you should try it. The graphics are obviously going to be better but the map adjustments are awesome. The new types of game you can play on it too make it elite. I expect the thought of bringing vehicles into it will put some people off it as it’s not really the same but it’s still fun and from what I can see, most of the death match games don’t have vehicles in anyway so you can easily avoid games with them.

I uninstalled it yesterday having not touched it for months - I couldn't find anyone to play with either, everyone just sticks to the original. I hate public games, I suck at games like this anyway and they're always populated with chodes.

I just downloaded the 04 demo again, it had the face classic map redone, pretty cool i must say.Ive been playing that with instagib for a quite awhile now, roks roks.

Demo can be played on the internet so it's very very sweeto.

I have always loved the original Unreal Tournament, especially Domination and Assault. I have not had the privilege of playing UT2004 as of yet, but I have played UT2003 and needless to say, I did not like it - obviously the graphics were exponentially better than that of UT and the bots worked as a team much more effectively (I caught them storming an outpost in line-abreast formation), but the gameplay just did not feel the same.

Unreal Tournament is awesome . I have the first one on my computer. Even though the graphics suck , it's still cool . UT 2004 is so cool though. I want that game.

Bah! At the time of its release, the graphics of Unreal Tournament were pretty darn good, even if only software-rendered. And even today I still think the graphics are good.

first of all no it doesnt (edit: although it wouldn't suprise me if it did: 23 and you still live with your parents, no friends to go out with, no gf to spend money on... much easier for you to make money)

hmm lets see

1 my pc owns yours as already stated above
2 secendly if you look on gamefaqs (bigest gameing message board on net) you find that unreal tournement isnt listed at all in the top 10 pc lists but infact the dead game of diablo 2 LOD is ranked 2nd and unreal isnt even on the charts about 400 people go to that d2 message board hmm... menaing next to no one must play unreal
3 when I dont WANT a gf why the hell would I search ? because TBH nothing pisses me off more then people who think everyone wants a gf just because they want one if you want one go get one

now for the halo board on the other hand afew 1000 go to the board ?

P.S. UT games are alright. I've played better, but yeah they are cool.
