The area is just too hard. Pacifist are supposed to be a solo class but the area is that hard most paci users are forced to travel in a group if they wish to reach the end. And the monsters they dont drop enough gold to justify the damage they dish out to people. When the area was first released i had my old paci(lvl 21) and the second i got in mad ghost and mutant scarabs started killing me. Yes i agree that it is only for the strongest pacifists and a lvl 21 should train in the baron wasteland outsidebut cmon. I now go in thier with my new paci(lvl 29) and i have most of the things needed for it (boots of time sgs dont have the amulet though) and i struggle to stay alive in the 2nd floor of the pyramid let alone find the way through it. I know the area was designed for Archmaster pacifist but even at arch it is a nightmare to go through. I heard that when Crane developed it, it wasnt supposed to be this hard and that JLH tweaked it a bit (more like made it impossible). Yes i know it is possible as 7(i think) Shamans Masks have been claimed, 3 by the same person if i remember right but maybe Shamans Masks wouldnt sell for 2 mil if they werent so hard to get. So overall i think this area should be made so 1 pacifist can make it throught on his/her own.

Nine masks have been claimed so far... 3 by the same person (and that isn't me - I've only claimed 2).
The masks should be worth 1.5 million at least, which they are, but they simply too tricky to get for most, mainly due to the 2nd floor boss being self-healing and the monsters dropping too little gold in comparison to their toughness.
I do feel a bit disappointed that the area was not as successful as I had hoped, but that's life.
