Very recently a French .ISO of Halo 2's DVD was released to the internet on accident, and has since then been uploaded to torrent after torrent. What does this mean folks? Halo 2 is Now Free on the internet. Many of you are probably excited, but with this comes many downfalls. For One, do not even try to get the .ISO, it will be very hard to find. If you somehow manage to, it will take a very long time to download, and unless you speak french, you will have trouble understanding it. The final and worst downfall of this is like most games that are leaked (Half-Life 2, World of Warcraft, etc. etc.), the release dates are pushed back. News are now saying Halo 2 will not be released until Next year. Thanks to those who ruined this for all of is.
I will keep you updated in this post as more information arrive.
Information could usually be found at www.bungie.net , but it seems they have been down.

From bungie.com:
Last night(Oct. 13th) a pirated copy of Halo 2 was released onto the internet. Needless to say we think this really sucks. Aside from years of hard work being stolen from us, we've gone to great lengths to ensure that the details of the Halo 2 campaign remain a mystery for players to experience for themselves on November 9th. Microsoft is currently engaged in a full scale investigation and to those foolish enough to partake in this piracy, you will soon witness the firepower of this fully operational battle station.
Members of the Bungie community - we need your help. The Underground Army is being called into action; this is not a drill. Anyone who has information regarding the leak of the game or individuals or websites promoting the download of these illegal files is asked to please contact us by sending email to piracy@microsoft.com or calling 1-800-RULEGIT. We also ask that you help us minimize the spoilers for those opting to wait for the retail release by refraining from posting screens, talking about the story and deleting any such posts you encounter. Many of you have already been actively tracking down and forwarding links to us and we thank you for your help.

Edit:
Microsoft has learned that a version of Halo 2 has been posted to various newsgroups and web sites. We consider downloading this code or making it available for others to download as theft.
We are currently investigating the source of this leak with the appropriate authorities. Pending the result of our investigation, we do not have further comment. Microsoft takes the integrity of its intellectual property extremely seriously, and we are aggressively pursuing the source of this illegal act.
The launch of Halo 2 worldwide remains unaffected.
We're asking anyone with information on the source of this leak to contact Microsoft at 1-800-RULEGIT or send email to piracy@microsoft.com.

I played Halo for about 3 hours before taking it into town to trade in - extremely repetative level design, AI wasn't up to much, I didn't think much of the weapons.. and it was just generally boring. I wanted to complete it so I could sell it but in the end it became too much of a chore and I just sold it anyway. I left it installed though so if I ever decide to play it again (before I format) I can just get a no-cd crack.
Well, time to have a shower so I can go into town and buy Knights of Honor.. then move my PC into the other room so the Internet actually works, allowing me to beat rich at another FPS (UT2k4 this time )

Hmmmm, I wonder, do you also, if you think something bad is to happen, concentrate on the worst possible senarios so that you are 'relieved' when they don't come to pass?the more hype the game will get and the higher the expectations. I'd rather have semi-high expectations and see a game that blows me away than see a great game that doesn't meet up to all the hype.
If you answered 'yes' to this, then you suffer from manic tendencies brought about your inability to manage your expectations realistically.
You don't need professional help yet, but until you learn to be be more realistic about potential outcomes, you will have problems with your presonal and professional life.

...Well...yes but my worst possible scenarios usually involve grossly obesse objects, sirens and lasers (with the odd cyborg thrown in here and there) which just cheer me up.Hmmmm, I wonder, do you also, if you think something bad is to happen, concentrate on the worst possible senarios so that you are 'relieved' when they don't come to pass?
...Hmm...that does sound crazy. XD
