This is a contentious issue (or maybe its just me ), but I'm curious what the concensus might be.

I'd vote for a complete re-work of the Nightmist system, but it isn't an option.

I would argue more but it is a pointless argument that has no effect on anything. All we can do is wait and see what happens.

I c ur points however ppl using multiple alts are forcing others 2 do so 2. The reason y ppl dont cruise around in NM with just 1 alt is they will get owned all the time so they bring some equalizers. Every scenario has its floors, perhaps we should bring an option like when creating a crit u get the option of playing in a pk/non pk environment where u can only attack monsters. If u pick non pk u cant mosh and only log in that 1 alt like paci's. I know the paci class is there for that reason but come on, u can only harm the undead (which to me would get boring) .... with the exception of Crane and afew others most ppl just clogg up the IT or barracks just 2 get the coin and not to explore the NM world. When training my clerics in IT i c the same paci arches are always there !!!!! I think something should be done about that 2 also

PS Not anti alt as i find training multiple alts has more advantages than training just 1.

Limited crits. Parties allowed. Having a max crit count of 3-5 would make the game involve much more strategy. What crits to train to help you succeed. Like picking a 3 v 3 team. Do you go all offense? Cleric and attackers? One of Everything? (or at least almost) Seems like it could be a bit of fun to me.

limited with parties. and zel hunny if you would vote for deleate game. why are you still around take yourself to the leaving/returning forum and leave. its really not hard. then you go to (if your useing XP) controle panel and add/deleate programs click on Nightmist and when it askes you if you wanna deleate Nightmist and all its components say yes. wow that wasnt very hard was it?

Squee is arch now though, and you did it with just that mage the whole time...It's very impressive and uncommon to see such effort.

As for limited alts + parties...I really think that'd make NM a bloodbath game. You arch the 3-5 crits that you're able to play at a time...then what? Then nothing. Then you kill everyone with them or quit.
If you're the crazy kid who arches 3-5 crits of each race/class...I think you're lying and that you wouldn't actually do it.

As for making better crits to replace those crits---some of us have 3 arch 6/6 crits already...what exactly would the point of playing anymore be if I could only use 3 crits and I don't like to run around killing people all the time?

As for saying anything about 'get them max equip!'...that would be too easily done. Then 'get rares for them!'...no one would sell their rares in the situation of only being allowed 3-5 alts---there would be no gain in having massive gold to do nothing with.

I'd like at least a couple of people to read this whole post and give me a reasonable response without flamming or whatever.

it won't happen on this game, but nightmist 2 will have 1 alt only.

I think yoiu're completely right there, Gaddy.
Why would anyone need there 10, 20, 30 arches if they could only play say, 5.. Arches would be sold for cheaper, and it wouldn't be long before they were even more wide-spread.. And so, as said, the blood bath would begin.

I don't think any sort of limitation would work within the current realm of Nightmist..

As in limited I mean like not having 34 crits in your account, make it more like 5 or 10 Max.

I think limitation would go well with a slightly updated version of this suggestion. I also think if it's put into place, another wipe will be needed beforehand to fix some of the problems mentioned in this thread. I'm still in favor of it though, it's vital to any real further progress of the game.
