It would be cool if there was a building in nightmist in which players could gather up and trade. People are always trading in game, and yelling stuff. So why not have a place where people can come and go, and trade. Atleast if we wanna sell or buy we know where to go rather than running around like headless chickens.

We could have 4 rooms in a square all joined together. It should be near the SGH as that's where most people are, so putting it somewhere on market street wouldn't get as many customers, as not many people actually go there....

The four rooms could have these titles:

Weapon Trading
Armor Trading
Misc Trading
Character Trading

This will make things easier to read, rather than having one room with about 20 people shouting 100 different things.

It would just be a place for immediate in-game trading. Perhaps east of the south bank, so then it wont be hard to run to the bank and back to trade.

A long long time ago,, On the old forum. I suggested Market Square be changed, or a new area be made. That when you /yell it reached every grid in this small area, providing much easier advertisment.

Something like that (your idea), would be nice. But it'd have to have something else there to keep people occupied, so more people sit there, rather than just sitting at sgh.

The market square should be changed...I saw delete all the website auctioning and selling of items. When people auction or sell items...An NPC should be made travelling around the marketplace asking people walking by if they are interested in those items...

Sounds like a good idea. I think this would be an effective way of creating less yelling and a more organized way or trading items and characters.

Why not keep the site and just add this? If you're going to the Market place, you're going to buy items/characters near instantly. That means the price will probably be cheaper than on the site.

However, you run the risk of just sitting there for hours on end, not seeing anything you're interested in.

Likewise, if you shop on the site, you'll probably find what you're looking for but at a price much higher than that of the Open-Market.

Instead of wasting the time and effort of the staff... we the players of nightmist can do this ourselves. There is already a market area that is like 6x6 in nightmist. Just inform people to go there for trades, and maybe it will happen. If it won't work there... then there is no reason to waste tome creating a new market that nobody will go to.

the market square is too far away (well, nobody goes there because of this...) because it is not as close to the pub, or the SGN, if it was near, then people would goto it, trust me....

What if there was just a little change in market square??
Everyone usually just stays on the center path, so what if the description just said something like "Character trades to the east and west" on one square "Armor trades to the east and west" on the next . . . blah blah. . .

Even if I could consistantly play nm on my computer I probably wouldn't ever use this since I don't tend to trade much. . .but I can see how it MIGHT be useful for those who do.

if you haven't noticed, the community of nightmist is becoming more lazy each day. To put it in a place as deserted as the market square would be stupid. such a feature should be placed closer to a more dense area, with lots of people close by.

you should actually just be able to trade in market square like its a pub or bank.

no no no, this is a public run-system. people will come here to spam their trading offers, instead of spamming them on every square in nightmist so somebody can see them. If people are looking to buy they can goto the trading centre and talk to people there, or if they wanna sell then can go there and say their offers.

Also, yelling should be disabled on these squares.
