So anyways, I was looking around and I found this. It's a long read, but it's really good. Don't bother looking at it unless you're going to read the whole thing because i'm not going to give you a summary of it.

I thought it was particularly interesting because it reminded me of a lot of things that happen in Nightmist.

Maybe by reading this you can understand why I don't play anymore (and other people, too).

good stuff , i read about half of it (i haven't read that much since 4'th grade or something)
and the end, was quite nice ..he gaved the money to a man that would proly build some ships and kill pp l for fun ..since he has so much money

why in the hell did i read that whole thing... it was good and i give that dude props for writing it, in my opinion.. hes the Robin Hood of "Eve Online".. Unless u are super bored, do not read this.. lol

How was he Robin Hood? What he did was terrible and it hurt some good players like the Alltech corporation and that other player who knew the main character for months - they were even friends.

Robin Hood took from those who were already evil and corrupt and gave it to the poor. This guy just took from anyone he could in order to satisfy his own malicious ambitions.

Then again, I suppose if you only read the ending, it would seem like he was being a Robin Hood.

it sounds like a dennis miller fan just got done reading reading fear and loathing. i suppose it would have been better if the guy realized he was done with the game before bilking a ton a people.

Shame there are no scams on Nightmist - I think they add a bit of flavor to the game -Grins-
