Pallys are my favorite to train. Sure, fighters may be a bit easier. . .but they're really not my style. As far as I'm concerned, it would just be a bit spiff if the dex was a bit more effective (I think I picked the right word there affect/effect, bah, I even looked it up on some sites. . .stupid english).

They aren't bad, it's just that there are no use for them. Why train 5 paladins when you can train 3 zerkers, by yourself a cleric and kill anything?

Because not all classes are designed that way. Paladins make a good solo-class. In parties, I find they work best if they lead them.

Usually, you just train one, not multiple Paladins. The same goes with Druids and Mages, I suppose.

Paladins are good i think they just need a little more attacking points they have enough dex thats not the problem Hp is good ima get 310+hp with mine they just hit a little lower than they should

I think they need a new spell too, but i voted for more attacking points. i just think they need to hit harder, mine rarely misses, but it dont hit for the greatest.

They need a char+str increasing spell at level 28.

I can't think of a suitable name, but I mean, muscles make people look more... attractive.

Divine muscles?

they already have champs strength, which does mod the stat adequately. the char mod is irrelevant. besides, someone gaining that much muscle is more freakish than attractive.

Pallies need, Divine restoration, depurate undead, aura of protection, devestate, berserk and camoflauge . . .

nah in all seriousness pallies are just fine the way they are right now . . . I like them as do many others

i thought about something that would make people want to train there more and actually have them in eachothers party's that holy speed can not only go to pallys but to all classes.....post your ideas

NO! this would way over power zerkers and rnagers and everything else

can you picture a raged zerker doing zerk with rf hance and holy speed...?

Well Just like all the other pally spells you cannot do all of those spells put together when you try to do Champs Rf and enhance champs goes away this way wit holy speed....it would wear off. Also This way it would make people want to you pally's more noone uses them and they just became a class noone cares about.....with adding extra dex to other crits they will like it

Considering Holy Speed on a Pally, it misses an awful lot, so make Dexterity affect more.

With how much dex they can get, they should never miss.

Actually, I kinda think dexterity affects enough, I had a duel with Archmaster Berserkers and Thieves and stuff. And with 25 Dexterity due to Holy Speed, the Zerker barely hit me, the Thief always missed the assassinate, and those crits don't suck. So that's kinda changed my mind. and personally, think they should get 6 Stamina instead. It's only fair.

I took on a Berserker 2 levels higher than my human Paladin, Crane. Though I only had Divine Prayer, the Berserker rarely hit me and I could easily heal myself if it did damage me. It was hitting back that proved problematic!

A +ac spell and 1 extra hp/lev would be nice (clerics and theives having equal hp to a paladin of same race/stats is stupid...)

but the hit rate need sorting first..... they miss way too much

eh, I got a level 22 i've trained I like it.. i've never had a one higher then level 22, so I can't really say, atm though I have to like, and i'll prolly arch 2-3 more pallys. I just gotta find out how to duel with them. I'll prolly ask a couple of the people I know are good with pally's to teach me though

I dont think we are talking about how pally's can become better 1vs1 i think we talking about group pking point is they dont help enough
