40 Reasons to Hate our (USA) President Bush:

1. The national debt under Bush Jr. has increased so drastically that the average american's estimated share of national debt will be an astronomical $24,000 compared to $500 when dubya first took office.

2. Under Bush Jr. there are now 43 million americans with no health insurance.

3. Responsible for an unemployment rate of 6%. There are now 9 million people out of work in america--3.3 million more than when bush took office.

4. He cut healthcare benefits for war veterans.

5. Bush Jr. deserted his unit during vietnam and was reportedly awol for over a year from his assigned unit: the texas air national guard, or as it's referred to by other military outfits, the "champagne division".

6. Despite a 13% unemployment rate among those aged 16-24, Bush Jr. proposed to eliminate youth opportunity grants--a program that provides job training to the nation's youth. A $225M program in 2002 is now being done away with so bush can have more money for Iraq.

7.He cut funding for 375,000 low income college students and reduced pell grant amounts to such a severe degree that it effectively caused 84,000 students to no longer be eligible for pell grants. Pell amounts have been overall reduced for 1.5 million students... it's safe to sayt hat the bush daughters aren't eligible for financial aid, so this won't affect the opulent lives of anyone bush jr. may know.

8. Withdrew from the international criminal court.

9. First president in US history to refuse united nations election inspectors (during the 2002 us elections).

10. All-time US (and world) record holder for most corporate campaign donations.

11. The bush administration had twice as many FBI agents fighting the drug war than fighting terrorism prior to 9/11. Even after 9/11, more than 2,000 FBI agents are wasting there valuable time assigned to the war on drugs.

12. His proposed "free trade" agreements would result in the loss of U.S. jobs to foreign markets and the exploitation of third world workers.

13. John Ashcroft.

14. He has taken 11 official executive actions to undermine reproductive rights.... How long will it be before a woman is stripped of her right to choose?

15. Failed to fulfill pledge to get osama bin laden "dead or alive".

16. Wasted federal resources on a PR trip to baghdad where he staged a thanksgiving meal at 6am with troops that were screened based on there political affiliation. And the turkey? It was a prop.

17. His refusal to fire--or even reprimand--Lt. General Jerry "Our god is bigger than their god" boykin. Perhaps it's because boykin said of the president, "george bush was not elected by a majority of voters in the united states. He was appointed by god. He's in the white house because god put him there."

18. After sending troops off to die in an unjust and unprovoked war, he still has yet to attend any soldiers' funerals.

19. His shameless nepotism for the rich and powerful. Elizabeth Cheney (daughter of ol'turnip) got hooked up with a cool gig at the state department where she was in charge of the $129 million middle esat partnership initiative and then was moved over to daddy and uncle dubya's campaign payroll.

20. He dropped his dog on its head.

21. Bush Jr. is the first president in U.S. history to enter office with a criminal record.

22. Bush Jr. has set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously protest a leader (10 million people), shattering the record for protests against any person in the history of mankind.

23. He slashed funding to the violence against women act.

24. He has invaded and occuppied two countries at a countinuing cost of one billion dollers per week.

25. He appointed charles pickering, a notorious segregationist from mississippi, as a federal judge and suspicisiously did so on martin luther king day.

26. Bush has spent over 100 billion on iraq, leaving states to face the largest budget crises in decades and forced to cut off public services; now with the federal deficit at a new high bush jr. wants to award more tax breaks to the wealthy.

27. Under new bush legislation (the clear skies initiative), power plants are allowed to emit triple the amount of highly-toxic mercury into the envirnment.

28. Bush Jr. failed to protect 3 million acres of the tongass national forest from logging. The tongass has the highest concentration of bald eagles on earth and has already lost 700 square miles to logging with 33 more logging permits pending. Not even the sanctity of our endangered national bird can compete with bush campaign contributions provided by the forest industry.

29. He is on pace to have taken more vacation than any president in history, including a 28-day vacation right before 9/11. Bush Jr. hsa taken 6 months of vacation in total.....Do you know anyone that gets 6 months of vacation?

30. He pulled out of the Kyoto agreement on global warming, which had been agreed upon by 178 other countries.

31. Bush jr. is endorsed by fundamentalists pat robertson who claims that god told him bush will win re-election and that "it doesn't make a difference what bush does because god is blessing him". Bush Keeps some great company, but keep in mind roberston was also the nitwit that blamed the 9/11 attacks on gays and suggested that we "nuke" the U.S. state department.

32. He set the record for the most executions by any governor in american history. 152 in total; some of whom were mentally disabled.

33. Has repeatedly stonewalled the public investigation into 9/11.

34. Bush Jr. declined to fully fund the aids initiative after promising to do so. The final cuts that resulted were over $2 billion.

35. He still suggests that homosexuals are "sinners" and is pushing legislation that would forbid gay partnerships and deny fundamental civial rights on a national and local level.

36. Choked on a pretzel and nearly lost his life while seated in front of a T.V.

37. Bush Jr. has gone to great lengths to prevent investigations of his friends at enron and halliburton. More time and money was spent investigating the monica lewinsky affair than has been spent investigting one of the biggest corporate rip-offs in history.

38. Bush Jr. has set the record for the fewest amount of press conferences by a president since the advent of television.

39. Responsible for a 521 billion dollar budget deficit--Less than 4 years after inheriting a 200 billion surplus.

40. He has made repeated attempts to legalize oil drilling in the national wildlife refuge.

Most of these scary statistics started taking form while president Clinton was in office, but these statistics were hid, because the media is corrupt. Now, since George Bush is in office, the media releases this information.

The fact is, George W. Bush is a great president.

Clinton was a lunatic: Seriously, to hide his sex scandal is a pathetic reason to start a war in the middle east. Bush's reasons are much better.

Anyway, go say that you wish the Iraqi's hadn't been liberated to an Iraqi's face. I'll have pity on you.

We don't want the view of the U.S. to be a 'selfish' country. When somebody needs help, why is it bad for us to help them?

So its solve others problems first before we solve our own? We have ppl dying and starving in the streets. We also have one of the lowest education rates around the world which I believe has alot to do with the ppl in the streets. How can we point out a speck in someone elses eye before we remove the speck in our own eye?

Bush, in my honest opinion, was/is a terrible president. His actions with declaring war on terrorism was an excuse to finish his daddys thing with the oil over in Iraq. I know there has to be more terrorism out there than just in Iraq.

leave him alont, hes just a nice guy.
i think hes a great president, im sure i could type some stuff up that i could use to try to prove why to alll yall people, but i know that no one here really changes their opinion anyways and i am tired and lazy.
I believe in the Triune God;God the Father, the Son , and the Holy Spirit.I believe that while I was helpless and sinful, Christ died for me. Therefore, I now have the righteousness of God, old things have passed away and I am a child of God. I cannot be separated from the love of God, Christ lives in my heart by faith and therefore, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I have been chosen by God and appointed to bear fruit for God. I resist the devil and he flees from me.

Okay, so... what's your reasonings as to why he's such a great president? With what I read above... and read/hear in the media... it doesn't sound as if.. he's anything close to being.. great.

For those who haven't yet seen Fahrenheit 9-11, I would strongly suggest it. Even if you find Michael Moore irritating, he has the sense to step out of the spotlight and let Bush do the talking. It's important for our generation to realize that there is no such thing as unbiased network news, and some of the most incriminating leads and ties regarding Bush are convieniently left off of the air.

Even if you don't care much for politics, this is one of those movies that will still keep you very interested in its subject.

A must see.

"If we don't succeed, we run the risk of failure." ... George W. Bush, Jr.
I like that quote. He may not have said what he meant to, but I think that's brilliant.

Sure, he says plenty of dumb things. We all say dumb things. He isn't Cleo, he can't tell the future and whatnot, so sure he might make a mistake. The government is in debt...what do you expect when the nation goes to war?

I really am against the war. I don't think it was justified; however, what would everyone think if we sat and did nothing? Just as many people, if not more, would be mad for us being inactive as they are with us attacking the middle east.

I'm not going to hate a person for acting in the way he feels serves our country the best. He's got help in making his choices and the rest of the gov't backed him. We all just get pissy when we don't have everything done within a few months.

What would you think about a president who did not react to 9/11?
What would you do if every person in our country needed you to make the decision that would protect us the most?

Wisdom is the principle thing. Therefore, get wisdom, and in all your getting, get understanding.
-Proverbs 4:7

i agree that the united states as a whole would have been extremely upset at bush if he didnt take action, but i think he also went way to far with it. After 9/11 he was intent on finding the person/persons responsible for that mishap, but that didnt last long. Sure he is still having ppl search for osama, but he got distracted by something else of less importance.

In my opinion, Bush is one of the worst things to ever happen to the United States

although i've seen bowling for columbine and read parts of "dude, where's my country",i hate michael moore. he provides a lot of damn good points, but the fact that he's such and ass pisses me off. he came to our campus to speak, and if he's so very much for the working man's best interests and rights, why the hell did he charge college students $30 a pop to see him on our own campus?

also, how can someone care for so many people and their interests and care so little about his health? the man waddles for god sakes. look at the direction of his feet, they point out, not straight.

smart man, has terrific points, he's an ass, and portly, i hate him. i hate mec too.

You need to get your act together before you go bashing entire nations. Try things such as, oh I don't know, using periods.

-----> .
(these)

two: Michael Moore is everything you said. I think he realizes this, and that's why he kept himself almost entirely out of F 9-11, only making a few key appearances and almost always just sticking to a calm narration as opposed to his usual sneer. Don't let your dislike for him as a person stop you from checking the movie out.

Wow, this whole post is one massive piece of Bias information.

I don't care if you hate bush, i don't care if you hate Kerry. But why must you dig up miniskule information that really doesn't justify a hate relationship? IE: him choking on a pretzel.

If you say that, i'd swing back and say "A reason to hate Kerry is because he used botox a couple times."
