Really more of a party trick than anything else, trained mages can use their advanced magics to bring lesser minds to their knees. By blocking off most of the mind to the rest of the victim's body, a mage can render a person almost completely helpless. However, recent controversies over the spell have led to the limitting of this spell to just seperating one's control of their words from their body, rather than any physical part(s). Failure to comply is met by penalties of the most severe kind.
Mana Cost: 70
Level: 29
You casted Simplify on [user]
[user] casted Simply on you.
[user] casted Simply on [user].
Notes: Whenever the victim of this spell tries to talk, their speech is replaced by some simple phrases. i.e.
An apple a day, keeps the doctor away.
I miss being home.
Let's all have some frosty, chocolate milkshakes!
etc.
The chance to resist this spell is twice what their normal resistance to any attack spell would be. Effects can be removed through Cleanse, Dispell or healing at an Inn. This can "waited out" as the effects last as long as poison would.
((I'm not sure but I think the poison equation might have something to do with Constitution...if so, just replace constitution with Wisdom.))

I don't see why it wouldn't be castable in town. The mana cost is pretty high so it kind of detours people from over-casting it...and when you factor in the chance to resist and the chance of your victim "getting over it" in the next round, it is a very weak spell. This'd have to be castable in town, I love the idea.

Neither does the word 'sence'.considering saito and my new current main and all my other crits have always had max wis I dont think that makes to much sence
Anyway, I think this spell might actually serve a purpose besides making morons *cough*rap*cough*py*cough* be quiet.
In order to actually serve a purpose, the mana should be lowered a bit. If it also included clan chat, party chat, etc., it could create disarray in clan wars, moshes, and other large-scale battle thingies.
