Put a winemaker in somewhere, you give him poisonous grapes and he will give you poisonous wine! Looks like a normal wine bottle, but instead of slaking the thirst it kills you. Perfect to give to people who kepp yelling 'someone nourish me im hungry'. or just to drop at SGH

If you can afford a CSOTW, I'm positive you won't be yelling "Nourish me, I'm hungry". ^^;;

Oh yeah, really obvious. So far the only person saying no is some retard that is worried that an extremely clever person, who just happens to be running around with a cobalt in his inventory, might drop it when he's stupid enough to drink something someone else gives him.

If someone has a Cobalt Staff of the Winds, I think it is far more likely that they will have it equipped or dropped off in their account vault before they even consider drinking a from a wine bottle lying on the floor.

The Winemaker will have to do a bit more than just give out poisonous wine though, because players will quickly pick up the fact that the wine bottles it produces will be toxic. I do like the idea though... I support it.

Staff correct my if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure with the way the items work the poison ones would have to have a different name, so you'd be able to tell the difference.

Personally, I think the Winemaker should give out different types of wine, all labelled "Bottle of Wine", poisonous or safe. But the poisonous ones have a slightly different image to the safe ones (different coloured liquid?) so an observant player will spot them.

Not just the image, the description should say something about how it smells/looks (were it poison).

Only problem though... I think the Nightmist database will get confused if there are two objects with the same name.

That's not proof to me - proof would be JLH posting here himself. And JLH doesn't appear as "JLH - Nightmist".

Look, Warlord, it's okay for you to not support this idea, but you're going a bit far in saying that it's obvious the answer is no and then posting some text supposedly said by JLH which doesn't look genuine to me.

It obviously won't get added. If you think about it for a bit you can see how this would cause the mass slaughter of innocent newbies like tadpole.
If you build it, they will come.
