Now that my exams are over I have decided to start the online vampire roleplaying game I was working on a few months ago. I cannot stress enough that this will be ROLE-PLAYING, I plan to run sessions with NPC's and plot etc. and leave the server on most of the other time if people want to role-play with each other although I haven't finalised the details yet. It will use the Minds Eye Theatre White Wolf vampire system as I decided this was easiest for this style of game. To begin with it will be set in the city of York, England although in the future I may allow other people to start up their own 'sessions' set in different cities if the game grows. For those who know a bit about the white-wolf setting I intend to start the game with the city belonging to neither sect so they will both be present and fighting over control although if there is not enough demand on one or other sect I may change this. Note that all characters will require a background and if I deem it unsuitable or inadequate I may reject the character, for other details on the characters I will allow please contact me. Basically a rules system, it's pretty simple and I will provide anyone interested with help on how to create a character and anything else they want/need to know if they e-mail me. See

That whole rule system was a really good read. ^^
I was more interested in the actual Vampire clans and heritage, though (I just skipped the rules ^^; ).

Is this game going to be like a forum? Or a client? Will I need to know the (combat) rules like the back of my hand?

The clans and heritage are the important parts in that as the rules system is slightly different, currently it uses a very simplistic client/server basically chat and a system to generate random outcomes really as I want there to be as little system as possible, relying on players for almost everything although I will probably have a forum too. It is doubtful you will need to know the combat rules of by heart, as I will try and be available, at least at the very beginning, to sort out any combat etc. All you should need to know is your character and what any abilities/powers etc. do.

possible although I would prefer it if everyone started out as a vampire...if you want to talk to other players and see if you want any of them to be your sire you could play a newly sired vampire tho, that would be great.

I've always wanted to play a newly sired vampire who hasnt come to grips with what he really has become... That would be an interesting character indeed.

I'll accept pretty much any reasonable character concept, just e-mail me with any character concepts and I'll help you sort out the details of a character.

If you e-mail me on, JediRWStagg@hotmail with a character/character concept I can help you make a character. I'm using a very specific ruleset so some concepts may not be possible but anything reasonable should be fine. I plan on starting in around a week, perhaps 2 depending on the response I get.
