Astrology, the study of the skies, the study of the stars, the study of the heavens. Astrology is normally intwined with the study of God, no matter what religion yours may be. Even when the stars burn out, it leaves its traces behind. New stars are born, and old stars die. Even when they do though they never leave without a bang.
Astral Warriors are the fighters for justice. We have risen, and fallen many times, but we have never fallen, without a fight, or making a big impression as we did. Astral Warriors started when Hikage and I (Vampiress) had been in a clan called the Dark Zodiac. We had just started the game, back practically when the game was new. The Dark Zodiac was like many clans were back then, if you didn't donate, you were booted from the clan.
The donations hardly ever even went to the clan, just it's greedy owners. Your status in the clan was based on donation only, and sometimes that couldn't even get you a rank. Hikage and I decided to create a clan that was fair for all players, and one that would someday be respected in Nightmist, and hopefully change how clans were run. Donations weren't mandatory, and still aren't. Rank was based on good deeds, favors for clan members, and personality. Not just donation.
A clan is meant to be a family, and that is how a clan should be run. Each member like your brother or your sister, sticking together with each other through thick and thin. When Astral Warriors first started we had 5 members. The Dark Zodiac called war on us, they had a considerable more amount of members then we did. We were laughed at a few times for challenging such a strong clan. At this time not many people played the game, and news traveled fast through those who did. Allies were soon for
Allies were soon formed, and after awhile, Astral Warriors won. After that victory the Dark Zodiac slowly fell.
The Astral Warriors quickly became one of the most succesful clans in Nightmist. We had passed the 100 mark in members when other clans were finally passing the 50 member boundary. Astral had had two sysops in its ranks. Savino, and Pandilex. Savino remained in Astral Warriors longer though. Astral had been ranked 3rd in Nightmist, and would have been more if it had not been for the lack of money at that time. Rank didn't matter though. We were a large and close family.
Later on a clan thief arised in Nightmist. Attacking and selling almost every clan possible. Staticx, also known as Devlyca. Astral tried its best to help notify other clans as fast as possible, and keep him from striking anymore. Sadly though out of spite when this person was stopped, they snuck into leadership in Astral, booting all of the members. Along with that and some personal problems in the lives of the founders Astral slowly fell for awhile.
Lowering itself to the rank of 30, from the rank of 3. By this time Astral had greatly changed. New techniques were being created to help prevent clan thievery, and various other problems in Nightmist. This was the time when archies ruled the game, and lvl 5's could be killed over and over again by lvl 30's. This was the time when hardly anyone played, and the sysops actually had time to be friendly. The game was grand then, but it was slowly changing. Maybe for the worst? Maybe for the better?
I believe it got stuck in the middle. I have returned to the game though, there's new races, new rules. We have to learn parts of the game over again practically. Sometimes I feel like an old person on the game. With all of their "back in my day we had to walk 10 miles to school in the snow..blah blah blah" because so much has changed since I've last played.
It became a strong clan but like all clans it had its problems, so the Astral Warriors fell again…
Now for the 3rd time, the Astral Warriors rise again! This time we're here to stay.
Hopefully I will see you in the clan one day. Let's all bring Astral back to the glory that it once held!
Page/Memo any current member of the clan for information on joining. All donations are happily accepted as we are starting from scratch. Clan House is being precisely rebuilt, all old descriptions were kept. Hoping to get in contact with all past members, and a great deal of new!
