I think you've got some risk on division and accidents, especially if this is intended for both servers.
However, perhaps party systems that determine gold division would be interesting. Setting it up so that only the party leader collects gold or that all gold drops are divided evenly...
But again, I've never had noticable issues with players that I party with agreeing to and abiding by any terms we devise.

As for risk of mistakes, there is already a risk of human error with /calc, and party members hidden.
Initially I thought it would be for 1a only, as I don't really see any need for it on multi; on 1a we are often splitting gold between training groups.

the problem lies in, hey gimme gold to split *all give gold* *dude is calcing* *click shade click* looks like noone is getting any gold but the lone thief that is one major problem with /give party gold.
Or you could just go to town and split gold there?

^I've always felt that was very unfair, along with low level gold characters that people kept in the Museum to mule gold and log off.

-probably not a good one but you can come up with the percent, I'm gonna say 25% for now just as an example(could be a bigger or smaller % whatever staff/players could agree on):
Stig(stig is a normal mortal crit in this case) kills me at current drop and I have 100k on me, I lose all 100k. Gnarkill cries and stops training out of frustration

that way even if they get the party leader only a % of the groups gold drops. Would most likely require admin.. no idea if anyone would support or even like the idea. I feel it would make pking a little more fun and a little less frustrating.
Trap deaths and other things should stay the same and you lose everything just to be a pain in the butt learning maps or running into a trap.
Also sorry to Stig for incriminating you with murder, but I used you as an example lol.
