I think that animals (such as bears and badgers) should only attack druids unless the druid attack the animal first. It just makes more sense. but things like goblins and gnolls would still attack without u attacking them

what you all think?

I believe it was said on the old forums.. But never the less. I dislike the idea, as it'd make training a Druid much easier, too easy in some cases.

It does logically make sense, but I have to agree with Alone, it's not going to happen. It would be kinda neat if a druid could befriend/summon an animal though.

Yeah i like the summon idea not only can you choose the animal you morph into you can choose which animal ya summon. The higher your lvl the stronger and longer lasting the summond beast...Or maybe make the spell Summon a lvl30 spell or boss drop

This wouldnt make training much easier at all because generaly you get the first hit anyways

not being attacked by the animals makes sense; but...you have to think that normally an animal wouldnt attack a person without a reason anyway, which means that these animals are already desperate and wouldnt hesitate to attack anyone or anything.

i do like the summoning idea though, but i think it should be a low level spell that gets stronger as you get stronger (better/stronger animals ETC.)

another idea for druids would be to have them able to charm animals like bears and maybe wolves(at high levels) but at low levels keep the animals at like bunnies and stuff

If it's all monsters, bar humanoid ones. You'd be able to walk through the Desert without any problems. You'd be able to walk from NM to BT on a level 1 without worrying if you'll get killed. Uhh, the list goes on...

It won't happen anyway, monsters attack, it's a fact of life.

if you want to get technical then you have to think that bears and wolves really aren't monsters but animals whereas a cinder beast is a monster

How about that when druids get to a certain lvl certain animals dont attack them unless attacked first.
For example

lvl 10 rats and hyenas dont attack you
Lvl 15 badgers black bears owls chipmunks and mountain goats dont attack
lvl 20 Brown bears and warthogs dont attack you
lvl 25 wolfs (maybe higher lvl)
lvl 30 Desert Spiders and and cobras


and any other animals i may have misse

possibly changing the levels round abit

Thats just a stupid idea, a Druid would be virtually invincible and be able to make gold like nothing.
