Id rather work on a level 1 character from scratch with no help than train my "main". For sure will the people play the same "Q" class and race for 30 so that when it hits 30 it becomes useless and hope you win something worth your effort. As for you I will just spend my time pking the noob Q crits while training my main.

Heh will be interesting, as the only way it will possibly work is if people really work together. In that some players will have to train clerics to help players who have fighting class's or no one will get to Tirentek to kill the Sprit Of O heh.

Also, oddly, those that are trying to do that last challenge wont be able to hit anything on the way to Tirentek including the KTP monsters

It would be fun if we all had alot more time. Some people will have to huge of a time advantage for me to participate. sure a lot of people feel that way, but then again a lot probably are glad they have such a big advantage... oh well

Depends how you play it, i don't think everyone will just using the Quest Character.

Heh to say most quests last a max of a week orso 2 months is loads of time!

Also normally quests often benefit the people who have the friends to get into large groups and destroy the boss's. This one will benefit everyone, including new players, and any one who’s a good solid but quiet trainer of crits. Some unknown could train a crit up in secret with nice stats/hp etc and win the price for best crit!

It would be interesting if the prizes were CRIT modifications rather then new items. I remember killing a boss on main a few years ago and getting my druid who killed it turned into a 5 stat for the pleasure heh.

@Matty so you can't get any type of assistance from any character thats not registered. So you can't have one guy cleric a bunch of Q crits unless the Cleric its self is a Q crit. And you can't expect any REAL teamwork to be done until everyone is 30. Then you might see the other monsters taken down.

Question for Jase, can a character not get Hunter and Bosser? Or would boss kills be excluded from your kill list since they're for another category?

They are more than capable of getting hunter and bosser. There is two prizes for hunter, one is for having the monsterkills i stated on the kill list.

So you must atleast have 5 Ants for example. but you can have 6 ants, or 20 etc.

The super prize (Hunter) will be awarded to whoever manages to get a kill list of exactally the list posted. No more, no less.

And yes, registering multiple crits is allowed (but only one of these may be logged on at any one time).

What I meant by hunter was the special prize, so I guess I will have to make 2 crits if I want everything!

Depends if you have an acc partner who is willing to train a Cleric.

I dont mind been a Cleric as i have other sharers to get the shiny prizes for us.

I'm not sure if DG, SK, and CG (lol at dying daily with experts) were just examples. I'd like to see HL, Lycanthir, Giant Chameleon (another lol but possible I guess) included.

If not, I'm sure a cleric would easily win the bossslayer with just DG and SK being the real pwnable bosses

Also, what if a QST Party and a not quest party are both killing a boss but not partied (or for better terms, not even working together) and a QST gets the ks, does it count?

I would like to do this quest, but I simply don't have the time to speed through it like I used to be able to... work, other commitments, and another game (!) - nevertheless, the fact there are prizes for simply completing the journey rather than coming first is nice, so I might just participate.

Stop flaming if you arent going to do the quest please.

Some people will do the quest to get prizes while others will do the quest just for the pure fun of it. It's all how you look at the game you know. You can be a person like me who has been logging on for 10 years and has only ever arched one character just because I like the concept of the game, or you could be someone who logs onto 4 crits at once onto the 1-alt server because you just want to be better then oher people. I guess its all in the personality of the player and how they like to play.

I'll bite the bullet if needs be. Seeing that I'm largely a solitary player, I doubt I can get exactly that monster kill list. By the way, does that include the number of kills of each monster?

Yes to get that special prize your monster kill list must include only the monsters on the list, in the quantities provided. It will take alot of teamwork and cooperation, so lets see how we go

Regarding not interacting with non-quest players, how are you going to enforce not buying items from the website that are being sold by said players, or will that practice is allowed?

ADDENDUM: Or the reverse... putting up an item on /websell that is then bought down by non-quest players... or even your own alt. That's fairly open to abuse...

get ahold of me on Gnarkill for now.. I switched up my mind on QST chars and am trying to roll one quick, unsure wether I will be participating or not now due to the fact the decent stat chars I had also had low hp tables before I reset them lol.

I do still have a useable ling but if it gets a good offer I might be selling it off.

I really kinda just wanna wait and see who is gonna be partying up. would be willing to work with me and what would best benfit thier grouping before I select my character class,.. If noone wants to play nice I can just make a druid/pally but if there is a party with clerics I wouldn't mind making a zerk/ranger/fighter or if there is a party without clerics I might be willing to train a cleric. sooo anyone with info on how theyre gonna do things and if they want my help page/memo me with what type of chars your party is planning on and I can go from there.

The whole quest seems like its gonna take a lot of time looking through logs to make sure every second of every day went smoothly. How are you going to react when NON qst people are killing bosses and QST walks in does it count as help? Does it not? Can those not playing chain pk those bosses? What then?
