wouldn't be hard to program at all. The data is already there, all JLH would need to do is make a visual for the data, and slip in a status bar or somethingpossibly under the gold line in your stats but it seems like a big hassle for programing although it does seem reasonable considering irl you can usually tell when your tummy needs food.

How about instead of a popup window make it two round circles that change colors are you get closer to needing food/water. Say it starts green and over time it slowly shifts to a yellow and then slowly to red. Have two of these circles, one for food and the other for water. Neither would take up much space on the client window. They could even be put in the place of where the attributes used to be. For those who remember the attributes that is.yeah that would be cool, maybe in a pop-up window. the main screen is already cluttered.
Oh and when either circle turns red have it beep the client once and only once when the circle turns red. From then on if you missed the beep then its all on you.

Large outages make for crits getting hungry halfway through. It would be nice to know BEFORE you lose health that you need food.
That and battle spam sometimes pushes hungry messages out of the way. Not giving the opportunity to see them.

its not like you die strait away. It says right there in the text window when you are hungry/thirsty.

I was thinking that the longer you are hungry/thirsty, the more food/water you need. When ever you need 2 pecies of food, the bar should change over to two.

The first hungry/thirsty message takes away health. So no, it doesnt give you 'fair warning'.i actually gotta disagree. i have thought about this, and it DOES give you alot of notice when you're hungry/thirsty.
its not like you die strait away. It says right there in the text window when you are hungry/thirsty.
Like I said, battle spam can simply push it off the screen, causing you only to notice when the fights are all done, which could very well be when your hunger/thirst or both have you losing 25-50 hp a crack.

Thats why you eat before them, ofcourse you're gonna be hungry sometime. In real life i also always check my meter before i go out, saves me the trouble of dying at school and having to come back againLarge outages make for crits getting hungry halfway through. It would be nice to know BEFORE you lose health that you need food.

Here you don't either, health points aren't life points. If you have 300hp, doesn't mean you have 300 lifes, so you're not dieing here either, just getting weaker..like irl.irl you dont just start dieing from not eating. you know when your getting hungry, you friggin nimrod...

I like the idea of hunger and thirst meters. I am not sure where they would be put in, but they would be nice to have. I usually have a druid with me, but I don't always know when crits are hungry and thirsty, i scroll all except for the leader to keep myself from lagging too much. Some crits get hungry before others for some reason...not usually, just sometimes, and it throws me.
Also, I log off regurally, it is very uncommon for me to stay on a crit long enough for the crit to become hungry or thirsty in one go....usually closer to 9 go's before they've been on for long enough to be hungry or thirsty.
The meters wouldn't hurt anyone, they could simply be made toggleable or something like the exp and flashing.
