Since Scripto is away for a bit, Elf and I thought we would give the 1a players a little contest to keep things interesting.
We have created a new creature for 1a called the Barrow Wight. You can find a few of them in the meadow north of Nightmist and in the Large Forest near Arilin and Windia. The contest will run for 20 days, then the creatures will disappear forever.
The five characters who have the most Barrow Wight kills at the end of the contest will each receive a permanent +5 HP boost.
So go kill some wights... or kill some people trying to kill wights... or steal kills from people who are trying to kill wights... or kill people trying to steal kills from people trying to kill wights.
It's all fair game for the next 20 days.

It has been brought to our attention that the random chance element in an HP gain is not the same in mages as the other classes. We would in fact be pushing the maximum coded boundaries of mage hp by allowing them this reward, rather than improving the luck in hp gains that could have occurred anyway in all other classes.
We will be offering +5mp to any mage in the top 5 instead of HP, to stay in line with the current hardwired systems, so to speak.
Keep -a- killin!
PS: Apologies for us missing this for the first day or two, I hope this doesn't spoil the fun for mage participants.

I've had a 102-103.5 fever the past couple/few days...
Does that mean I cannot win? (Or does just not killing any mean that I cannot win?)

Wisdom is the principle thing. Therefore, get wisdom, and in all your getting, get understanding.
