Ralph: A Class Idea!

Ralph's abilities...
plumber's crack
the plumbers crack ability causes a small amount of damage to the enemies health, but also forces them to look away and make rude comments to thier buddies, leaving them vulnerable to attack (lowers enemies dexterity temporarily).
sloth
the sloth ability allows ralph to out wait anyone who is expecting something to happen around ralph. whether it be rotating tires or leaving town. (basically it shakes off people trying to track you out of the town)
robot companion
since ralph's arrival, he has created some companions that remind him of home. these are his robot companions. normally their purpose is to bring him his home brewed ale but they also serve combative purposes. when called in battle they'll deflect damage meant for ralph and attack an enemy. when called on outside of battle they bring you ale, which makes ralph miss beer.
exploit
ralph is the only man in the world that truely knows when you need car repair. he's the only one who can diagnose mechanical problems. so it's only natural that ralph isn't always going to be honest with mechanical problems you may be facing and what's a reasonable estimate for repair. his success rate (and gold) is dependant on his charisma and the other person's intelligence. if ralph is successfull, ralph is payed for nonexistant repairs.
just a rough idea here folks, i figure he'd work best with armors along the lines of over-alls, jumpsuit, greasy clothes, and finally, irregular pants (which have got to be cheap, i mean they're irregular). man those'll be sweet. his weapons would range from robots, to simple sears tool sets. there's really only one other thing that the ralph class really needs and that's just a button on the client that says "Ralph", that when pushed makes a random ralph noise such as a fart, burp, or vulgarity. otherwise this is all ralph needs.

Some may think it may be fun to stick a 'plumber's crack' in someone's face, but JLH WILL NOT do this.
Play Time : 1 year 10 months

i call it like i see it, folks. so long as nightmist is afraid of taking the steps neccessary to make room for forms of skill based advancement, alt limitations, alignment, criminal status', and every other "it's on the todo list", "in development", and "planned for nightmist 2" idea that would make nightmist bolder and better - i can't see why not. if nightmist is unable to make relevant leaps forward towards being totally kickass, then i say, let's take the safety belts off, hang our heads out the window, embrace the insanity, and have some fun!.

We have the "Mechanic", "Ninja", multiple Necormancer threads and "Marine" (which I suggested >_< Bleh lol). And those are just around the same time frame that this thread was made.
(That's without mentioning other threads like "Birthday Double Xp", "Arrow Meter" and "[Undead] Wounded Druid")
And, no, I won't provide links to these class threads.

ppl need to stop takin things so seriously tony And instead of complaining, maybe you could lead by examlpe eh? I would advise you don't start with suggesting Monk or Necromancer thoughppl really need to start posting real suggestions suggestions that actually have a chance of making it in game and actually make sense an are needed
Squee, i remember the Marine, that idea was crazy too!
I once suggested a Ship class, which i still stick by as being a totally awesome idea, but i don't think people quite understood my visionary thinking
it's plausible that the SOB hasn't spawned

dude your suggestion was "super 1-alt marines from outer space with guns!!!@!1", and even though my brain tripped over that idea, i thank you for giving it my own "flux capacitor" moment where it hit the ground and realized...*quickly checks past pages*even though i posted originally to make fun of someone else's attempt to pass of thier retard drool as a feasable suggestion...

"wtf!? why perserve an RP mentality in a game that admits it can't further encourage the fantasy theme we hold dear? as long as only 1% of nightmist knows wtf they're doing here, and the rest just train on a hamster-wheel to pwn the other hamsters, there's no point in kidding ourselves any longer. for christ's own sake let's be robots, mechanics, rock stars, chefs, ninjas, pirates, cash money millionaires, and rick james!"
seriously. no joke.

What's the difference between playing the game as it is now, or simply logging on mass rockstars, robots, fisherman and milkmen.
Answer = none.

well i'd say it's got to be more fun. changing the focus from the apparently unobtainable progress towards having rediculous fun would totally raise our fun quotient 100%.What's the difference between playing the game as it is now, or simply logging on mass rockstars, robots, fisherman and milkmen.
Answer = none.

The only reason they give me is that it would be risky to hire a new staff member incase they were to bring them hassle, which is fair enough but imo it can't bring them as much hassle as players wanting something else to do in the game.

Ever play Kingdom of Loathing? The game with the Undead Elbow Macaroniis? And the Seal Clubbers (who hailed from the north because there's always one class that hails from the north? And the Haunted Cans of Asparagus?
Yeah, that game was a blast for the first hour. Then it got dull and repetitive. Not something you want to strive for.
