I can't log on to the game. I downloaded the 3.1 MB exe file from the NM site and installed the game normally.

When i got to the account manager screen, i found that sole character that was left in my account is now gone. Thinking that it was just deleted due to inactivity, i tried searching for the char in the character restore page, i didnt find my Crit (i tried the partial and the full search).

I tried rolling a new crit, but when i clicked on play, it just said wait, and wouldn't log on to the game.

I read the technical support forum, read other posts, but still couldn't figure out what's wrong with my PC.

Also tried reading the FAQ, but i haven't found anything there that could help me.

I already tried auto-updating the game through the .exe file in the nightmist folder.

I even tried doing the 'regserver...' bit in the run dialog.

I tried rebooting, reinstalling, etc. but i still can't log on.

What's also weird is that all the new crits that i tried rolling (just because i thought my old character was gone) Weren't in the account manager when i tried logging on again.

Please help.

Yes i've read the FAQ twice already. If the answer is in the FAQ, forgive me i wasn't reading closely enough then

your account name needs capital letters where appropriate
that will sort out the missing crit thing
does that fix the login problem?

*gasp* yes it did.. and my, that was uber fast... i only posted this a couple of minute agos.. thanks JLH

np, it's a bug i created in the last update when i didn't check for case sensitive account names when i was re-writing some code.
