well, this is what i think: just starting over without changing anything (a reset) is an incredibly stupid approach to dealing with the situation of an archmaster crowded nightmist (not that that's even a problem). i think most players now would see a reset as an opportunity to make a quick grab to fill the void of power all by themselves. thus, we'd wind up in the exact same situation as we are in now, in a shorter time.

And how many non pacifist arches do you have?

Yes I have a non paci arch I lvld from 1-30 by myself so reseting would harm me just as much as anyone else but i think the benefit would out weigh the drawback over the long run.
