why...OH WHY...does a cleric naturally get more hp than a paladin?if someone could clear this up for me it would be appreciated.I MEAN COME ON clerics are basically in theory the same as a mage(magical)why would they have more life than a paladin, :) mages get nothing for hp i just dont see the reasoning behind this

Clerics don't get the same HP as mages, and shouldn't do. Not at all.

Paladins should get more HP than clerics, but Clerics should get more hp than thieves and mages... and equal hp to druids.

Then..just train a cleric? If your that gung-ho about that, put it into the sugesstions forms of maybe bumping pally Hp, but your going to need a better argument then: "Mages are just clerics, but all backwards with spells that hurt"...thought Necromancers were the opposite of Clerics..or..something..but..thats not the point. Nothing has to be a certian way around these here parts. Anyways..I don't really think Paladins are worth all their ho-ha of trainin um' anyways. self-healing and not too bad attacks with a Justice blade or better makes them fun to solo on.
~
Well..my pally is a level 26: Hp:250 Mp:294 (18 18 19 19 19 14)(Can be rest)
~
My cleric at level 26: Hp:241 Mp:243 (17 19 21 18 17 19)(Can be reset)
~
Not sure if the yet to be reset part would make the differance..but human pallies seem to do better than halflings in HP atleast..(Can't say for sure my cleric only has 17 wis opposed to 18)
~
Just my three-cents.
~
P.S~Training the cleric is easier..and more helpful. Would go for one of them if you like alt training..not a big fan of..but nonethless, wee!

I agree clerics heal for amazing amounts, they say a clerics armor is always the cleanest, this is because they are not natural fighters they are mainly healers . . . I'd like to see clerics with mage hp and pally hp be raised a little

it depends what class, but they do need more hp...except pallys can do way more damage than clerics.

You'll be surprised at how often Paladins miss though, especially Human Paladins. I do agree that Paladins should get at least slightly more HP than Clerics, seeing that Paladins are more hardened warriors.

Humans? Pfft, even halflings with max dex + holy speed miss way too much.

not trying to be too sarcastic but basically-they arent a mixture of fighters and clerics-because in order to be in any way like a fighter they would have to you know....hit...so since clerics get more hp and heal for more paladins are in the position mages were once in - suckyness. they are obsolete because fighters hit and clerics are just better. so why be a paladin? so you can complain on the forum. end of story paladins are blind and are petty nurses compared to the surgens that are clerics. well that my view but when has it ever been, you know even read :)

Pallies were good for one on one, but then druids got upgraded and they totally pwn at one on ones. :P

Apart from that I do find Pallies aren't very good other than soloing.

Clerics don't get more hp. They get the same chance as pallies as it stands. Its called luck :P
