I don't know if this has ever been brought up before, but I had an idea for the auto-name change that occurs with crits being restored at a higher level than currently active crits...Here goes:

Instead of having the name of the currently active crit changed to something stupid like Crit_Renamed, why not have like...A grace period where the owner of that crit could change the name for free? Or a certain amount of time for that person to contact staff with a new name for the crit to have it changed to. Just like transferring the title of a car or something like that. Give a person two or three days to get their crit a decent name for free instead of sticking them with Crit_Renamed because somebody decided to restore a crit of the same name. I don't know, just a thought I guess. Flame, add your two cents, whatever.

i agree, it's something i'd strongly support. you shouldn't have to pay for a name change when someone else just restores a crit that they're just gonna let rot anyway.

I think you can contact JLH to have crits that have renamed in there changed for free, but I'm not positive.

If it isn't already free after contact to JLH, highly supported. I've had a few crits with "xx_renamed" and wasn't too fond of it.

i thought it only changes it if the crit is below lvl 10 and that in that lvl band name change is free any how?

That's what I thought as well until my lvl 19 crit got a memo and a name change saying it was changed because it wasn't lvl 20.
