Well, there is one reason for Pacifists to go to Chronos and that is either to explore or to get the Time Mummy on their kill list... the trouble is, it is a piece of cake for them to get past the Time Master to /examine for the Boots of Time, so for that reason alone they probably will not be let back in.

Couldn't you just lock that square or something? Like make it so that the Time Master must be dead in order to pass? OR make it so the Time Master must have been killed for the boots to spawn..

something maybe? Supported

You don't kill the Time God for boots, you run away from him. Pacis can just pact and not get wtfpwned by him and pick up yonder boots.

As a whole I have to agree that paci's ability to exploit the area by killing parties being taken away is a very good thing. Boots of Time is an examine drop, pacis have the easiest way of getting it, but mages, thieves and druids can get it pretty easy too. And you cant argue the fact thats its real nice to have some food and water available for long stays in thar.

Lol Pacifists are pointless for boots anyway as a mage or druid can practically do the same thing.

Either way I still don't agree as way it is now makes people have to waste a mage to check it up there or just not be able to check it whereas a pacifist can run through the area easily.

Well, if you want to block off just the Boots of Time, it is best to block off that entire portal (where you use the Broken Key) so you don't run to the Time Master and find you cannot get any further.

But as Pandilex's message says if you try to enter the area on a Pacifist, you cannot keep the peace in the past.

P.S. To Simon: The Time Master rounds crits, but you have to wait until he moves off of the square before you can move to the Boots of Time... and it's only a 5-second window before he returns and you have to wait for another minute.

I don't support pacifists being put into the area.
In areas where they are not used to explore or to kill undead, they are used to abuse their abilities.

My guess is that whoever wanted them returned wants to be able to trap run other players because it is no longer possible with mages.
Or wants to abuse the above stated paci abilities.

Then again, I suggested they be removed from Chronos in the first place, so I guess it's how I have always felt.

you can still trap run on a mage, but i dun see how it is 'easy' to get boots with theives, i tried it on 15 theives w/full pots (and a druid to run/cleanse them) and my party had about 6 pots left between them at the time knight, nowhere near enough to kill the knight, mummy and mage

No, mages cannot trap run with protect anymore.

Don't know where someone said it was easy to do the area with thieves, but if you wanted to just use thieves, you'd need to run more pots to them after they got through the jungle traps, and that still may not be enough as far as I know.
