and 1 more thing, what lvl is aura of protection used, i forgot if it was 27 or 28.

Best way to train mages is to not die. Plain and simple.

how much can you all get from AoP, i heard you could get just over 150ac

Highest I ever achieved was 205. That was borrowing some items from other people, and Champion's Belt. 155ish is the best you can yet with most items people have.
However, if you're level 30 with lots of spare gold:- Robe of Storms, Wooden Bracers, Circlet, Hades Amulet, Spider Gauntlets, Boots of Time, Ring of Astray x4, Baron's Bracelet x2. Those are best non-uniques available = 69*2.5=172 approx ac.

replace spider gaunts with thewm new gloves that have 8 armor, forgotten name

7ac and Gloves of Vigor, but how many people actually have a pair. However, I did use some when i achieved 205. I used sg's as an example because most of the players own numerous sets.
