Just wondering out of the 2 weapons below, which would be the better choice for my thief?

It really depends on what you wish to use them for.

DOTW is great for training in places where you don't wish to bring a cleric. The vampiric ability of this weapon is wonderful in my opinion.

DOS has a higher damage rate but is not vampiric.

I have both weapons, however, I personally like the dagger of the winds better.

Dagger of the Wind's is better, in my opinion too, but is a lot more expensive if you want to train 15 - 20 thieves at a time.

Emerald Dagger for me but if you can't afford i prefer Dagger of spirits over Dagger of the winds because base damage is loads better and to train most people use clerics anyway...
