When i turn on my computer if i let it automaticly load it loads up and says compaq, then befor it can start to load windows the screen goes black. Once i manualy load windows my computer is slow as piss and when i try to enter "My Computer" it opens the folder but shows nothing in the folder. Also my disk drive to insert cd's and such will not stop running and will not let me open the tray.

If you have any idea what this could be please let me know, and how i could go about fixing it. I've ran spyweaper and norton virus scan also and found Trojan. I went throught the steps that my spysweeper offered and still have the problem.

Any help would be a apriciated thanks.

I'm no whizz on the subject, but can you delete anything in Safe Mode?

A quick google search says that $sys$DRMServer is your Plug and Play device manager. Also it points to that nasty rootkit thing Sony Music dumped on their disks earlier this year. If you put a certain music CD from Sony (An American one)in your CD drive, they installed some odd program on it. If that is the trojan causing the problems. (They did do a product recall on these discs after a massive public outcry too) You'll have to contact Sony for the uninstall program if it is the one I mentioned. (You'll have to look that part up for yourself. heh)

Sony's website should be of help, there is a removal tool on there. Although they did give Antivirus companies the pattern etc, to detect and remove the program.

Oh and disable System Restore, make sure your Antivirus software is up to date and then reboot in safemode. Then do a virus removal. Most viruses restore themselves by utilizing that lovely system restore feature.

If you want the stuff off your music rip the songs to your computer then burn them to another CD, that should remove the DRM and it'll be safe to put back on.
