i have to agree with most ppl on nm are a$$holes ive played this game 5 years now and its worse then it ever has been we need to get it back to the way it was bfor the reset!!!!

I play Nightmist because of some of the awesome people on game. I like the adventure and I like to be able to RP at the sgh or anywhere else if I wish to. I think that there are some really wonderful people in nightmist, and if you say that there isn't... well, i don't think that you have looked hard enough.

Agreed, the attitude of alot of people on here is just simply shocking, they all bicker as if a bunch a text really influences their life in a major way.

(Yes yes there are quite a few people who actually have intelligence and realise Nightmist is a game and are actually nice but they are buried beneath a mountain of overinflated egos, better get a shovel, because you have to dig hard to find them. heh)

Then again, all games have the morons. Unfortunately they are louder than the rest so all we see is them.

I just talk to friends is all. When I get bored enough and not doing anything else.. I'll play for something to do.

I don't mind the bickering. I'm used to it. What I do mind is how the playerbase treats one another. I think most forget that there is an actual human being sitting behind the computer screen. They also think because they don't live near that said person they can run their mouth off and think they're tough while doing it.

I see a lot of racism thrown in every direction possible. That's something that should in fact be bannable. Something an /ignorepc won't solve.

I just play to pass time when I dont have nuts else to do. There are alot of moosetards in the game but I have met some pretty cool people along the way. And sometimes I log on just to act stupid and make people laugh. Say what you want about NM but its better to me than sitting in front of the devil TV and letting your mind rot. I think it exactly this which causes me to have little time for logging on and saying hello now.


I once played because I simply had that much time. The game is great. Some of the people are simply outstanding. I know it's been too much of my life, but I don't feel sad for the fact that I spent so much time on it.
Hell, it's a sign when you use to not hang out with friends because you'd rather play a game. That's when I stopped for a while, but I've still played the two years since then...simply less.
For a long time, Nightmist was my anti-drug. It's seriously what kept me busy when I'd have been smoking the reefer and getting drunk with my friends; who knows if that's for better or worse, but it at least sounds like it's for the better.

-shrug- It used to be a fun game. I knew a hell of a lot of people. I could do things that entertained me. The feeling of entertainment comes and goes. That is why people leave and come back.
It's not an addiction to Nightmist; it's a fluctuation of entertainment.

Hi I'm one of nms many "buttholes" as so kindly stated before, I have very few close friends in game that really know me other then a rude/mean gate sitter and I like to keep it that way I'm here to be a "heel" or "bad apple" and entertain.I enjoy making people mad (why they are mad at someone they don't know on a comp thousands of miles away I'll never understand) I get a kick out of it and its the way I like to play the game, to some its a chat program,role playing place, or a escape from reality... To me its fun in making you mad , its how I play it and without people like me some of you would never get mad enough to log alts.

Seriously though, I think I'm similar to gaddy's style (though I am no where near as good or as respected as gaddy ). I used to play a whole lot, but I went through a huge depression and realized that I shouldn't pick people I don't even know over my friends. I still play often, just a lot less than before, and helluva more laid back.

Even if I don't have time, I still log on to kill the bandit leader...because, he just needs to die!

I play NM cause I have made many friends over the time I have played and enjoy talking to them and believe it or not I still like to play the game!!!! I do miss the whole pking part of the game I mean I still get to pick on a nub here and there but since the player base has went so far down nothing like it use to be...I can remeber you could make a decent amount of gold off pking back in the day , but less users = less competition for boss although I do miss the whole fighting clans for the boss kills But ya I play cause its still entertianing and it keeps meh out of trouble most of the time
