Well, I don't think there was an announcement. (If there was then I missed it. )

But anyway, looks like you have either become staff, or are a player with too much powers... But with your main changed to a staff crit, ability to start moshes, and being listed as "Game Staff" on the forums, I'm betting you're staff.

Either way, nice job. You've already helped the community alot and I'm sure you will continue to do so given your new position.

anyway - nightmist is simply a burden to JLH now and needs people to run the triplex and events for him!

what happened to "the less staff the better"?.. no supprise though..

i honestly think that if you diddnt feel this 'obligation' to the nightmist community who have put so much time and effort into their accounts you would take down nightmist.

as for nightmist 2 - i would guess that was simply a weekend tool to cure boredom. i'd bet you have most of it completed, but every time you pull out that code to work on it a bit more you wonder why you are creating yet another burden.

the only players who will play nightmist 2 are those few dozen dedicated players you've kept all these years..

Matt, that is simply not true!
I put a lot of effort into Nightmist, because it is something that I do enjoy doing.
I have no obligation to do it for anyone, I do it because I want to do it, and I will keep doing it!

Crane was given a staff character with limited abilities to be able to debug his massive area edition to the game effectively rather than trying to relay what he wanted thorugh staff.
During this time, he has proven his ability very well, and so we decided to make him a permanent member of the staff team.

I've been here going on almost 4 years. I have no desire what so ever to create a new area. I am in no way jealous of Crane getting a staff position. What I am tho is upset that he comes in playing a puzzy azz paci and kisses enough ass over his year here to get a staff job when players like Stigmata, Gaddy, and others have constently been overlooked and have contributed much more to the game.

Who cares how much time he spent on the area. Do you realize that in Gaddy's 4 years here how much he has contributed? How many suggestions he has made that were implemented into the game? Take your candy azz down to the suggestion or improvement forums with a pencil and paper and start counting.

So yeah I am a little upset that Paci Master was given a staff job. There are many much more deserving and trustworthy people who have been passed over for a staff position.
