Logs into account ok but when I click play, it just goes to wait and after a minute or two says connection connection dropped by remote host.

Read the FAQ and ran regsvr32 richtx32.ocx and It says that it was succesfull but I still have the same problem

I am getting this same problem as well, except it doesn't take a minute+ to get the error. Mine actually starts to connect, but then gets dropped.

I've looked at the FAQ and did all of that, but I still get the same problem. I even tried using a different router and just plain unhooking my router and plugging directly into the cable modem. I don't have my firewall on or any other software that might be blocking it.

Can you help?

That's crazy. That was the last thing I was expecting. I have never been IP banned.

Yeah. Sure. I'll just log on to my account that I CAN'T LOG IN TO and send my stuff to another account that I would have to make but I can't because it doesn't work.

You don't have to log into your old account to make a new account. You could have just made some junk crit and see if it worked, common sense?

Read the FAQ, Telnet gets the correct message. I can log into my account manager, created a second account, transferred a character, even made a new char.

The ONLY thing I can think of is that somehow NM is looking for RichTxt32.ocx
when my computer has RichTx32.ocx.

Tried googling for the 'txt' file but when I go to dl it, it turns out to be the 'tx' one.

Suggestions?

Yep, reinstalled, went to updater, uninstalled, reinstalled a few times.

Lemme try the different mirrors. The one I tried was US-TX.
