ello ppls...
I'm making a MUD similar to nm and rok for a final project in my ap comp sci class and I'm doing it in Java... I really really really hate java -.-' and it's less common to find base codes for them in java than in c++.... and i have no freaking idea how to do graphics in java... soz if anyone knows any sites or tips or anythign that can be helpful I'd appreciate it if you'd post them ^^ I have no idea wth to start ;_;

How much stuff have you done in Java already? Have you done sockets and stuff before? Oh and you need threads too

I've literally just finished a chat program for one of my assignments, and i've started to adapt it into a game type thing...but no, i don't know of any really useful sites, sorry!

Try using J# it should be better for this.

It's still online I believe, and is made in Java - so may be useful to look at.

i figured i'd try to get it to work as an offline game before messing with sockets n stuff to make it online

at the moment im trying to figure out the best way to make the areas... maybe using a grid?

ugg there's no way im getting this done anytime soon >.<
