There is actually little chance we would survive that...because that would bring up another ice age and when that happens just like those mammoths we would freeze instantly. The mammoths froze so fast that the food in there throats were still in tact and the whole mammoth was still there just like a perserved ham. So pretty much we would all freeze to death eventually instantly.

eventually instantly.

So, where 'eventually' gives across the idea of prolonged.. It's.... A.. Prolonged instant?

What's to say they didn't choke on the food, hense it being stuck in their throat?

But anyway, if everyone dies. We're all dead, so there's no one left to care. So, why does it matter?

God would get very lonely though. So I doubt it'll happen, if you believe in him that is.

The most popular story of how the dinosaurs were annihilated, even though they were dying out anyway from there being too many predators, was an asteroid six-miles wide striking the earth somewhere near Mexico (there is an impact crater there somewhere). That caused a dust storm that engulfed the entire planet and, due to the consequential nuclear winter, started the Ice Age. The dinosaurs that survived the initial impact would have either frozen or starved to death.

As for humans, we might survive an impact from a similar asteroid for a while, but not forever, simply because the forests will die and thus cutting off our food and oxygen supply, and he have not found a replacement Earth yet. If something bigger than the dinosaur-killing asteroid strikes us, like a protoplanet the size of Mars (it has happened once... our Moon is the remnant!), we will likely be destroyed instantly.

For the time being, we are ill-equipped to deal with an impact... for one thing our detection systems need some improvement. Not so long ago, an asteroid several hundred metres across travelled between the Moon and the Earth... in galactic terms that is a very near miss... but we did not know about it until an amateur astronomer spotted the asteroid 3 days later.

well they found something that looks like a massive crater but can't confirm yet that it is the spot where it hit but i thought it was worth mentioning cuz rappy was talking about a flood so maybe that explains why he thought of a flood

There are many spots where they believe earth was hit by meteors. One of them being a lake. As for tidal wave theory of wiping out the dinosaurs, I have never heard it, I have always heard Crane's rendition of meteors causing an Ice Age. But if you all watched as much TV as you should, you would know that it was cigarettes that wiped out the dinosaurs.

no no you got me wrong the tidal waves didn't kill em but they were there so maybe that's why rappy thought of a flood. other then that it was the dust and cold stuff crane talked about that actually killed all of em

Hmm, will we all die anytime soon? According the a special decoding of the original bible (which many things came true about, Great Depression, Terrorist attack) theres to be a nuclear war in 2006 that will kill most people in the world. Saw it on some show, I think it was on AE. Can't say I beleive it..maybe be true, may not, I'm not smart enough..or stupid enough, to go with one side just yet.

Is that like the decoding of the bible that said we are going to die in 2000? or 1995? or 2001?

It will be on St. Patrick's Day at 20:34. All the Irish will be drunk by then and realize that they are one of the few countries that never attempted world domination. They will seize all the nuclear weapons by enlisting all the people of Irish descend all over the world (there's a load of them, I tell ya, they spread like roaches) and blow us all into oblivion.
