So, where 'eventually' gives across the idea of prolonged.. It's.... A.. Prolonged instant?eventually instantly.
What's to say they didn't choke on the food, hense it being stuck in their throat?
But anyway, if everyone dies. We're all dead, so there's no one left to care. So, why does it matter?
God would get very lonely though. So I doubt it'll happen, if you believe in him that is.

theres shelter that would prevent that ...just not much... thus i think some people will survive and most wont...So pretty much we would all freeze to death eventually instantly.
Making i wouldnt sleep with you if you were the last person on earth mean something lol

As for humans, we might survive an impact from a similar asteroid for a while, but not forever, simply because the forests will die and thus cutting off our food and oxygen supply, and he have not found a replacement Earth yet. If something bigger than the dinosaur-killing asteroid strikes us, like a protoplanet the size of Mars (it has happened once... our Moon is the remnant!), we will likely be destroyed instantly.
For the time being, we are ill-equipped to deal with an impact... for one thing our detection systems need some improvement. Not so long ago, an asteroid several hundred metres across travelled between the Moon and the Earth... in galactic terms that is a very near miss... but we did not know about it until an amateur astronomer spotted the asteroid 3 days later.

that made me kinda get stuck in the middle again... guess ill never have an opinion on this matter lol...The most popular story of how the dinosaurs were annihilated, even though they were dying out anyway from there being too many predators, was an asteroid six-miles wide striking the earth somewhere near Mexico (there is an impact crater there somewhere). That caused a dust storm that engulfed the entire planet and, due to the consequential nuclear winter, started the Ice Age. The dinosaurs that survived the initial impact would have either frozen or starved to death.

no no you got me wrong the tidal waves didn't kill em but they were there so maybe that's why rappy thought of a flood. other then that it was the dust and cold stuff crane talked about that actually killed all of emThere are many spots where they believe earth was hit by meteors. One of them being a lake. As for tidal wave theory of wiping out the dinosaurs, I have never heard it, I have always heard Crane's rendition of meteors causing an Ice Age. But if you all watched as much TV as you should, you would know that it was cigarettes that wiped out the dinosaurs.
