Ok so, everytime i try to open an .exe thing or w/e this error comes up
"this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel."

i dunno what to do really, if i did... i wouldnt be posting here.. so.. help?

I think it means you have deleted the folder with all the files to run the program. Try reinstalling.

reinstalling windows? oh come on.. i got better things to do... that's the only way?

The program that you are trying to use not windows.

i cannot reinstall it, cause when i open the setup thingy it gives me the same error... and i cant open ANY program.. just IE. o.o

ok so, my bro told me i should format... but i really dont like formating and reinstalling windows and stuff... if anyone else knows something else to do... let me know before it's too late

and if that dun work try this manually

Start Registry Editor (Regedit).
Locate and then click the Default value under the following keys in the registry

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Exefile\shell


Click Modify on the Edit menu. (right click (Default)
Type the word none in the Value data box, and then click OK.
Quit Registry Editor.
