im not sure which boss you might want to put this in im thinking more Sk because people are complaining they are bored of Sgs but i have a nice idea for new gauntlets

welll up the level and the armor base and your good! cause sg's are for lvl 27's and have a 6 armor base...

i wanna keep the armor base low so you would still think of using the other gloves

Would be ok if they were level 1 to equip. As a replacement for SGs though, they are nothing like as good. Did you mean to put a stat mod on or something? Otherwise....well even Centipede Gloves are better

I excluded Pacifists, clerics and mages. Pacifists for obvious reasons, and Clerics and mages because generally they are not known for hand to hand combat. And the word power in the name just struck me as being worn by classes that would use hand to hand combat.

I think it is a nice alternate drop for the SK. It will alow for your level 10's to have 2 plus armor over anything that is currently offered and it will drive the price of Spider Gauntlets back up over time thus restoring some balance to the NM economy.

Not all alternate boss drops need to be or are as good as the "big" drop. Just remember Gh'ul'arg.

Not for level 10, as these gauntlets would make the Tomb Gloves obsolete, and they are becoming rarer with the reduced drop rate.

5 armour for a Strength point... somehow I think that is not a very balanced trade, I hate to say. I would go for Strength over armour any day.
