OK NOW THIS IS BS .. I JUST FOUND OUT THAT JLH HELPED RICK GET HIS STUFF BACK THAT HE LOST DUE TO SHARING ACCOUNTS .. RICK CAUSE NOTHING BUT DRAMA ON NIGHTMIST AND JLH DECIDES TO HELP HIM .. I GUESS ITS ALL IN THE AZZ U KISS CUS I SURE DONT KISS IT AND I KNOW EPIC DONT SO I GUESS THATS WHY WE GOT THE SHAFT

I have seen accounts get a temporary ban while a theft was investigated. As soon as it is discovered that the theft is a result of sharing, the ban is usually lifted.

When crits are returned it is usually due to the "thief" being willing to give them back.

I personaly have never had anything stolen from me. So maybe i shouldn't say anything at all but then that just wouldn't be me.

Before you say anything read this whole thing or don't comment

JLH is very busy. Also i imagine very confused. You ask for change, progress, and an over all better nightmist. You are givin this change and then you say take it back its bad it off sets the game. JLH can not help everybody every time, and should he thats his choice. The guy took his time made this game and out of generosity lets us play the damn thing for FREE. I know that if i was jlh i would have already started charging or just shut down the whole operation because i can't stand when i do a good deed for some one and then they decide to take a dump all over me and what i did. Why is staff never on? Why do they never run events? Why THIS! WHY THAT! Because no matter what they do there is some one waiting to try and start some thing about it. Be a man/woman and put some one over your own god damn ego for once.

Now to all who have been stolen from. I do not think any type of stealing should be over looked. Stealing is taking from another with out the intention of giving it back against his/her will. It's wrong disrespectful untruthful among many other things which nightmist is full of as of late.

To some people this game will never be good enough. Yet speaking for myself i can look around and say wow JLH is really some thing. Also i'd like to thank JLH and the rest of the staff and forum moderators for the great job they do.

for a start, i've just got up pretty much...
the ban was done because both players were online, and so a convo could be done in the staffroom, if they are not both online, i can't do anything about it.
the point of the ban was to stop the other person doing anything to the account while the convo took place.
when it was made evident the "theft" was through sharing, there was no longer a reason to ban the account.

and ed/bill (whichever one you are), watch the language or that ban you used to have on nightmist will be reinstated sharpish...

Well, JLH, my account was somehow taken by rick this morning, and as was made clear to you yesterday, no more sharing was involved, now here is theft WITHOUT sharing, and you want to wait for him to log on, but he is sitting on AIM on his computer and wont log on nightmist, hmmmmmm i wonder why, and i cant get my things back, figure this one out people, i like chris am done if this stands


edit: i told him to log on through AIM too, so this can be resolved, an he wont log on

And riddle me this JLH why didnt you do the same thing you've done here, the reasoning isnt because you couldnt find the thief and the victim(s) on at the same time because theres THREE victims so thats not the reason

EDIT: And let me make this clear really quick, i dont care if i get my things back or not, i'm pushing more for his acct to be perma banned and/or givin over to the people we alll shared with so they/we can get some justice

solution to my situation - ban acct bc ricks known thief and i told u thats why i stopped sharing with him, and look what happened, perm ban all my crits id rather him not play and i not play then him play on my stuff


and rick is online but not on NM like i stated before

Now the new guy so your saying he used a keylogger to get your pass, since that is the only way that it could be obtained. Otherwise giving his your pass is the same as sharing.

You're failing to mention all the other times thieft has been a result of sharing and its been taken care of, and this is 3 people that have invested over 3 years of playing..ideas, events etc etc etc...

No im not, In the last 6 months, JLH has not even once banned anyone for sharing i know im the one who was doing alot of the fighting to help, and i have now decided no more. Ok you heard story 1, and now time for story 2.

I started playing nightmist again about a week or two ago. Many nightmist users gave me lots of stuff to help me get on my feet. Anarchy, Sera, God, Khalid, and other players were trying to help me because I had nothing. They gave me tons of things, gold, arch thieves, and items. Mike decides to tell me he wants to share to help me even more.

I start to share with him and about a week later everything is gone. Mike stole everything and told me that it was Epic. I contact JLH and JLH said mike has it. So I ask Mike for MY stuff back. He would not give any of it back so I tried to get him to talk with JLH and I about it. Mike said no he isnt giving anything back even after he admit to JLH 'I'm not giving him his stuff back unless you make everyone give what they stole back'. JLH still said he could not do anything. So I lost it all.

A few hours later IM Mike and ask him why he would do that I thought we were good friends and such but I guess not because he did this. He said he was sorry and gave me account and pw and we shared again. As you all read above I stopped that and do not share with him anymore. Now he is crying that he got done what he had done to me a few hours before.

Mike also tried to blame the stealing of my crits on Nick:

I remember a time Epic when you got a hold of Justin's crits via someone giving you the pass, and JLH refused to get those crits back as well. You might remember the circumstances under which we did retrieve them, and shoudl know fully well that JLH didn't help get them back, nor did you feel it was theft...

i gave him a bogus pass and changed it, pass i gave was rideordie16 - and he logged and i was on all nite and i changed pass to freebird420 and logged, woke up and my pass is changed

theres the facts, he didnt have the pass to the acct
