Anyway, I think it's kind of annoying when you are a cleric in a mosh because you have to hold the heal and drink macros (people try to kill clerics first)...
I just had a bit of fun---used the pub to get drunk, then held down my 'w' macro to see where it'd take me. I cleansed myself when I got tired of it. I actually did end up some place out of clan house, but I, no idea how, knew where that clan house was and went right back to mine.
Anyway, about five seconds after I'd gotten back to my pub and was just sitting there, I was booted for holding macros. That seems awkward. It's some kind of 600 commands per minute that boots people isn't it?

Don't see anyone else having this problem as much as you say so it's obviosly something your doing wrong.
I agree with Charon, *something there seems a little strange* in more ways than one.
Oh and auto train ? why bother to play the game

since autotraining is the main reason we have it this way, i find it ironic that all the automated NM stuff i've done was always purposefully slow. also the only fast automated stuff i've done was to to replace the macros that would disconnect me!. yes, i could have not been cheaty and used the f2 button. however, if i used the f2 button i would have been disconnected to curb cheating. brilliant!

out of curiousity, how do you determine whether one is "auto-training". i would have guessed the criteria would be repeating a series of actions at roughly the same interval, but how do you discriminate between a person's repeated actions (most of the game) and actions caused by an autonomous program or device (for example the bird that drinks the water). with a large american playerbase can you still see a pattern in the intervals between actions, or is it lost to lag issues somewhere between the coasts?you are admitting to autotraining? i'll have to make sure your account gets a good checking over...
like i said, i'm curious, because aside from the program check, i can't figure out how games combat proxy/macro programs without a large amount of false positives (like the d/c problem that started this thread).

I'm so glad that The Simpsons influence some people as much as it does me....for example the bird that drinks the water...

Anyway, back on topic... admittedly I have held down macros before, but only briefly to, say, run in a straight line for some distance (usually running between Nightmist and the Barrier Forest). At other times I avoid doing it because I find it doesn't usually make me attack any quicker than merely tapping the macro key multiple times in rapid succession... and also I just find I am scrolling myself most of the time with "You are too exhausted at the moment." messages.
