Time for a useless race post

Half-Sprites
--------
Strength: 11 The race is abundantly weak do to thier small size.
Intelligence: 22 Most intelligent race to associate with the human kind.
Dexterity: 20 Fast and nimble species due to thier size.
Constitution: 17 Thier lack in size depletes them in some hardiness.
Wisdom: 20 Although intelligent, the race somewhat lacks a desire to delve int the phylisophicals
Charisma: 19 Same in charisma as Humans...

Classes would be: Cleric, Druid, Pacifist, Thief, Mage,

It looks pretty unbalanced with the low strength, which also makes it unappealing for Druids and Thieves. Where do the Half-Sprites come from? Forgive me but I don't really like the idea of this race.

I agree that its a useless race post, and I agree that the proposition lacks depth

However for some reason I really like the low strength ^^
I really do.

However... as a mage... with the higher intelligence and wisdom it would perhaps be overly powerful- the strength wouldn't matter as mages can't do a great deal of physical damage anyway.

I would actually suggest rounding the str out... but in my mind I picture sprites as being weak not only in strength, but also in (as you state) their hardiness... I'd consider maybe even lowering the con a bit too and upping the dexterity further, then giving their race a greater natural chance to dodge.

Your suggestion was 11 22 20 17 20 19

I guess mine would be 10 22 23 15 19 19

...or something

Mind you, I think that would leave a minimum strength of 1 or 2? Heh, that could be interesting B)

However I don't actually think it'll get put in, no matter how much you or anyone else works on it.
In complete honesty I don't think anything race/class wise stands a chance at getting in.

With 10 Strength maximum, it is theoretically possible to roll -1 Strength! The stats range from Max - 11 to Max.

Thinking of what Crane said, who in their right mind would make that a thief. Ok so the dex is better then a dwaves but 10/11 strength would make them completey useless.
Druids would be crap also, if I was thinking of making this into a druid I would much rather go for a halfling because they have both the strength and the dex.

You would make them druids and thieves for the same reason people make Human berserkers and and Half-elf mages.

I have a half-elf mage...
I expect that explains why I was about to say I'd make a half-sprite thief ^^;;

Or I might just not be in my "right mind"
