Nightmist is very lacking when it comes to loyalty and unity between players. Clans have simply become a means to ascertain more power, even it means betraying ones own morals and ideal, even to the point where players will team up with their worst enemies if it serves them even the smallest of benefits.

I'd like to know (if there is anyone out there that does not share this saddening set of principles), what clans, or your clan, means to you?

I would of gone with the friends, but when friends are wankers to friends some friends get pissed off. and when a friend attacks you because of the clan you're in, you know the games gone to nuts.

My idea of teaming up with enemies is to take on a common enemy that is just being a total pain in our asses and can no way be taken care of by one clan. Otherwise, nothing is gained or loss by doing so.

There is no such thing as power in a game where multiple people play. Hell, there is no such thing as absolute power in the real world either. It's just a matter of thinking. So anyone who feels the need to backstab people, steal from people, or use a game to hurt people emotionally for real for power that doesn't exist, needs serious therapy.

My clan is for fun, friends, and to entice my roleplaying needs. Otherwise, there is no power to gain. JLH runs the game. That's the only person who has power in the world of Nightmist.

And no, I don't see clans reaching top 10 or achieving rank 1 having power.

One of the best things about being in Desperate Housewives is they don't care that members arn't on nightmist 24-7 wasting their lives.

The few clans that I've been in, even my own, tend to be the ones that value the old ways... honour, justice, a common cause and a strong sense of leadership. True, I may get angry with the founders if they punish a clannie for a misdeed, but in a way it shows clan strength.

A clan to me is a team... a house for those of similar morals. Those clans with honourable intentions tend to get good friendly members who are sometimes willing to stick up for you, while those with dishonourable, PKing intentions will get those who will stick up for you in the PKing the enemy sense.

I find clans that are disorganised and push for a lot of members tend to fall apart quite quickly.

I joined a clan in the top 10, and the time i was with it, i never got much help.

I was basically doin things on my own but taking on their enemies.

well when 1 clan cant defeat anothers by themselves and must rely on the common enemy to team wit them to beat them, that is when its time to call it quits for the one clan, if a clans gonna take on another, thats how it should go, u dont need to go bringin in other clans to defend u cuz ur the weakest link

Back in the day, clans was about Ori scaring noobs to join, people would donate, then wed just sell and take cash.

Nowaday, not many still play, so id assume its about getting w/ an active group and doing stuff w/ them that u couldnt do alone

I <3 my clan.. mostly just me and ash on.. we got other members.. just friends.. but like I said.. mostly me and ash... and it's fun.. .. It's not a real clan I guess.. but we help eachother anytime. If one of us gets pked, the other one just cries with her hahaha . But yeah.. we rule ... haha right.. ;/

Deval, to me a clan is not simply a place to hang out, but a place that I know will always be there. There are people within the clan that I think of not only as friends, but as my online family. Within the clan of Draco Honoris, we value honesty, integrity, and loyalty. There is not only unity within our clan and its members but a place that --I feel-- each and every one that is part of us belong. We are a group of honorable people that enjoy the game and the camaraderie that we share with each other and the whole of Nightmist. Through the years we have indeed had some enemies, however, I have found that through the most recent times, even those that appear “Red” have become friends with us. We are not all together because of the power, nor to protect ourselves from others… but because we want to be.

Feel free to come visit us sometime.

It's funny that so many people say so much nice stuff about clans yet its not how it goes down heh.

Tis but a shame, tho from what ive seen it had improved as of late which is wierd since people are overall less respectful of each other.... keep up good work
