Okay, I was not around while these things were about. But I never herd why they faded out anyways... Or the crystals that you could sell for lot's of gold... my friend who played back in 'first nightmsit' told me about these things...

Well, from what my friend told me... They were items that when you used them, they gave you a set ammount of exp. You got them from monsters.. I think... but my friend did say that they were won from Moshes, and rewards for beating a quest, or somthing like that... I'm just guessing here, but some of the saff could have been corupt, and just given them to their alts or somthing like that... idk, that could be why they got rid of them, other than that, I think that it's a fair trad (Exp for Gold...)

They're just monsters.. Any monster.. You hit it. You get exp.

And yes, if you don't know what a monster is, you _must_ be a noob.

little monsters with one hp giving you loads of exp would suck
the people who knew where they were would be archies in hours which would be a drag for the people who didnt know where they were...it would suck is the only way to put it

Low spawn rate+rare+secluded+not huge amounts of xp.

I believe this was just something that was created to repay exp to people for whatever reason before staff had a /exp command pre-reset.

It was for exp rewards after moshes and such if I DO remember correctly.

I remember my mage getting one in the nightmist tavern pre-reset.

I would love to see some of these come back. Maybe as an item though, so they could be sold or put to a different character. But let's not make them too hefty, no throwing off any balance or anything. Maybe 100k exp per bag or whatever they would be called. Just something new and exciting to give out to mosh/event winners since items are almost never give out anymore. Just that boring gold :-P

Well, I guess then that the actual gold is boring, but the things you can buy with it aren't. The possibilities are limited!

I believe that the exp pods were hard to hit, if I remember correctly. Even though they had 1 hp, that 1 hp was really hard to get, almost like hitting Pete cept he dont give you no exp.
