Now that the craze over the Dark Knight has died down, who, in your opinion, plays the best Joker in any Batman series or movie? (Mark Hamill is the voice-actor for the Joker in the animated series) Vote sensibly!

deffy heath man, yes granted theres noone better then jack, but heath was awesome, wasnt one dull moment that entire movie with him playing joker, just wish he'd be in the next one god rest his soul <3

Heath Ledger was a completely new take on the Joker, and a good one, I'll give him that. Jack Nicholson did a very good job at transferring the comic-book Joker to real life - I still love his entrance with the circus music and the time he pulls out that revolver with a 4-foot barrel (and Batman's disgusted look that follows)... that's just so classic Joker! Admittedly, Tim Burton's 1989 film "Batman" should probably be called "Joker" instead!

Heath Ledger, simply because he added a much darker element to the role. Something more believable and less comical than the others.

Heath and Jack did excellent jobs, but for me you just can't match the old school stylings of Cesar Romero as the joker.
