How about the fact that the mage you used is a gnome, who recieves +10% magic resistance compared to other classes?

Druids are probably the most versitile class in Nightmist. They dominate. There is no reason to complain about them.
That is why it makes sense.

As stated already, Mages are the masters of magical arts and possess counterspell, and Gnomes have increased magic resistance... for Druid vs Mage, I would morph the Druid first and use mêlée attacks on the Mage - if the Druid has a Hawk Talon this has the added advantage of sapping away the Mage's mana.

Makes perfect sense to me spuddy. Like pulling out a spoon and getting pwnt by a fork then wondering why. Forks are better for poking but if it was an ice-cream eating contest you would rock my world baby yea groovy.

Oh yeah baby!

Plus the Druid could have used heal, but choose not to, an ability the mage does not have and would probably saved him.

Seeing as druids sucky as healing... NAH, but anyhoo if the druid and mage were vs. with their best of the best, being beam and a druids talon, the druid would of course, dominate
How the hell would I know?

And nobody will fault you for doing so my friend, however, in a REAL icecream eating contest you will struggle to finish off the melted ice cream at the bottom of the plate. There is only one way to do that faster than a spoon, and that has been outlawed since the "Licking Plate" scam of 92.

I would just drink the molten ice cream straight from the bowl by tipping it!

But back to the point, you have to pick at your opponent's weaknesses, not their strengths. Mages are masters of magic and trying to fight them with magic (unless you are a Mage as well) will not get you very far. However, Mages are not the best when it comes to mêlée combat with their lowish armour (unless using Aura of Protection) and weak attack, so I would pick on that.

i'd generally use an ip sniffer on the mage/druid if i had there msn, then change the packet size and ms between sends and type ping "insert ip here" In the command prompt. then id equip a haiberd and beat them down one by one.
