I remember a little bit before the reset, Pandilex I believed changed his name to the Inquisitor and this change carried into the current game. What was the deal behind the change? What did his tower contain? Been bugging me for a long time. I never really paid attention to it.

The desecrated church holds the answer to your question, if you're a mage...
If you build it, they will come.

the part pan was referring to was part of a quest i believe. if anyone who took part of that quest can clear that up, it might be informative.

The quest comprised of Pandilex making a mortal alt, leading a group of players that were on at the time, myself included, to the desecrated church before the level cap was in place. In the room containing the boss there's an /examine description or a /read which gives you the details your after.

The quest ended when Nismos killed the boss and got the inquisitor's ring, which I then bought for 1.2 mil,

How'd archie end up with it then? Doesn't seem like anyone in their right mind would sell the Inquisitor's Ring....Ste = nublet...though you guys have it back now I guess.

Sold it to archie to buy the second cobalt staff of the winds, which were 10mil, and in those days extremely hard to afford.

Sold ring for 7mil btw if your interested.
