As someone that has not rolled or trained a paladin, I am curious as to what they are good for and what they do.
Some ideas would be helpful
thanks and have a good day

Paladins are a very good solo class, as they can stand up for themselves with reasonably good heal and enhancing spells and the ability to equip the strong swords. They do not contribute much to a team of alts though, but I find they make a good party leader.
A good Paladin is tricky to roll though because it benefits quite heavily from five of the six stats (not Intelligence). Strength for its melee attack, Dexterity for dodging and chance of hitting (Paladins really need this, as they have a habit of missing a lot), Constitution for HP, and Wisdom and Charisma for healing.

Stop the high and mighty game, a Paladin CAN'T out dmg anything in game excepts a thief failing alot.
This is fact, unless the Paladin takes on a healer role in the beginning his team won't win due to lack of fire power it's shown in 8 out of 10 cases. <in triplex's that is>

You talk alot about how it used to be, as a matter of fact that's all you talk about, cause everytime someone offers to duel you for gold the excuses begins once more... the "I don't have gold/I don't PLay/I haven't played in months/I don't have EQ" And So on.cept for when I used to carry my team though in 3v1s on my old pally but lets not go there
Buy a Paladin, Borrow it do whatever you want excepts for steal one, and prove to me how "Awesome paladins used to be"
Cause in todays game with zerks, Paladins team loses 2/3 fights in triplex simply due to lacking fire power, and not enough heal/spells.
They are merely a halfarsed class in triplex, and Rappy Lose the bloody attitude.
