Thought it would be a good idea to offer a suggestion to either update or create a new spell similar to enhance. Although it does the job pretty well, I was thinking sacrificing a little mana cost for an enhance spell that has a slightly longer duation with a dissipating affect. Casting the Enhance Spell gives a base STR and over time, begins to lower. For example; a Human has 19 Strength and a Cleric enhances them for +6 STR, leaving the Human with 25 Strength. Let's say every minute (or however so period of time) the buff reduces by 1 STR untill the character is no longer buffed by the spell. (This makes it so higher level cleric enhances last for a longer duration.) I haven't thought it out completely, but if it's an idea that people like, I'll put some effort into it.

The only question I have to ask is 'why'? Not to dishearten you, but Enhance has more than satisfied my needs on the multi-alt server, and I presume it is good enough for 1-alt (I don't actually own a 1-alt Cleric).

Of course it's good the way it is, but it's an opinion of mine... I am a player of the 1-ALT server where there can't always be a cleric around and I would much rather go for a longer duration than keep the initial +6 STR for a short ammount of time. Was wondering if anyone felt the same way. It's a sacrifice of major initial damage, and maybe a little over powered to keep higher STR over a duration, but it's balancable.

Sorry, but there is no current reason to change enhance.
To do so because it would help players who don't have clerics with them...is actually a reason not to make such a change...

Decided to give up on it. Wanted to see a Cleric become cool so there would be another good class to choose as a main on 1 ALT.

A 5 stat dwarven cleric would be a badass character on 1-alt.
Lings, gnomes, humans, and elves would be pretty sweet with the right equipment as well.

Don't forget those poor neglected half-elves!

Any 5 stat cleric with decent hp will rox. It's just a bummer that I don't have one. Well I do. But it's the wrong 5 stats and it's only lvl 11...

Yeah, I'm tending to think that dwarf cleric might well be the one to go for on 1a. 430hp by lvl 35...160ac or w/e...nice

Well I've owned a 5 stat Dwarf Cleric. He was kick-ass, but someone offered the right ammount of gold for him. I also didn't have the equipment that I have now, which is a bummer x.x.
