Besides picking on littler players, I just can't see anything besides a bleak future for Thieves.
What can be done for them?

Perhaps you should ask one of them.
Rangers are in the same predicament actually. Only 30 so far.
Sadly since the changes, mainly the KTP monsters stacked in town entrances/exits
there is no easy way to train without losing your gold and/or experience.
I was just getting used to the fact of training without a healer and had managed to
come up with a strategy to train solo. Unfortunately that strategy was slow going but it worked.
Now with the KTP monsters its useless not to mention the KTP pkers.

Thieves, rangers, and berserkers are all screwed right now, and it's the fault of not re-adjusting beforehand.
I don't feel the classes should simply be left alone, especially thieves, who are easily the most frustrating class at this point---because even with a cleric, thieves still do the least damage and whatnot.
It isn't as if you have a team together to PK, so they cannot really contribute that well in PKing either, where rangers and zerks will still excel.

I got my Thief to 19 and I can finally click small snakes on occasion. I can feel the power.

Rangers and Berserkers are still alright. They can hit for decent damage at lower levels. Berserkers just need to be careful about using berserk. It just needs to be used more sparingly on this server. Attacking normally will still do fighter damage. Nothing bad about that.

Level 14 rangers hit for 20 max. No other class hits so low at that level
Thieves could do with a much bigger assassinate-from-covert damage bonus, especially in NM1a where the thief wont be partied with another 19 theives. I suggested earlier double-damage if you assassinate from covert, while NOT in a party, assuming you hit in the first place (which is a tough ask for low level theives)

I'd complain about zerks but they already have this power but with less of a hit rate.

Most of them haven't seen much response.
The main thing I asked for was that stealing gold be better exp than even attacking monsters generally, but it would be difficult to work with...along with other things.

Well if one of the most dedicated people in NM can do it, then surely everyone must also be of the opinion that thieves are easy. Seriously, I know you work hard for what you have, but your reputation in 1a is for how you stand apart from others and not how you're typical.
Once again not taking anything away, but how is it surprising that the better one can mimick main, the more their results are alike on both servers?

Ever since thieves minimum assass got raised, other classes are becoming scarce... its all thieves now lol
