Since when was this changed ?

Gardener Gold was probably the best reason people trained there.

Now its gonna be an underused area, just what we need heh.

1,500 gold for a monster with less power and HP than a Sand Spider and which spawns very quickly, and you have plenty of other monsters with reasonable gold to kill while you wait - I would hope that the reduction is gold is justified, but not punitive.

least this is a Change we can see why it happened...still don't agree with it as it was a fun pk area and the area won't near tje same now...

Lol ya.. i only noticed few days after i posted this that Beetles drop 200g or so?

This area will be seriously underused.

Gold is slightly less than before, but shouldn't be worthless. Playtest it a few times and compare it to other areas like the desert and see how it compares.

Dessy is huge in comparison...rg is very accessible and should be higher gold due to the "risk"..would always check check rg for old just while gate sitting...

I havent played this game in a long, long, long time now. But it seems like nothing ever changes lol, you people just can not be happy, can you? If I were still playing I would think its a good thing that you even have a staff member thats willing/able to make changes. (especially a change like this one, that doesnt even seem like a huge differance, you couldnt be losing more than what, 500 gold every 10-15 mins?) your still getting 1k plus the petal key which gives you a chance to kill the GCB(i dont remember the gold drop on him, but i think its a reasonable ammount), which drops a sellable thorn key, or even a chance to rob 10k from the Atrium. Anyway, thats my post for the year lol, bye! And remember, be grateful for what you get, because most times the playerbase attitude deserves nothing! P.S. - I will never post on the forum from my phone again, what a pain on this tiny kb. :P

If all areas drop round about the same gold going on the mobs hp and damage done, then why not just delete every other area and leave it like that?

EXP in RG is less than Dessy btw so you cant really compare them.

Gold should be as it was to compensate the EXP difference. (Ok its not much tbh but still... you need to maximise the potential.)

Exp, gold ratio to hp of mobs, survivability on mobs, risk of getting pk'd.
Though, the risk of getting pk'd isn't really changable without changing other qualities, since it's how popular the area is.

Most people only think of the first 2, exp and gold/hp ratio, but to keep areas balanced all must be considered.

Would an area be too awesome at 200 pod and 100k gold dropped off 25k hp mobs if they hit every 2 seconds for 1000 damage? I think it'd be pretty fair. (An exaggeration, but the point should be gotten)

Areas pro's and con's can be ratio'd (thus, balanced) with each other and still be vastly different.
Anyone who thinks it'd make all areas the same is a dumbass who only thinks of the first 2, and what exp their gaining compared to gold. If the areas had no "bad qualities" and only had exp and gold and no chance of losing anything, than you'd be right.

Why do people even expect to stay in the same area from 25 to 40? I find that alone funny.

Then again it might be because there hasn't been any lvl 31+ restricted areas with better benefits. I'd understand if lvl 31+ was added as strictly a "bonus" to make people slightly more powerful, but this isn't main, sorry (can't really say this anymore, since 31+ on main got stamina gains and the bonus is no longer slight, but then again they also got a couple 31+ areas). This is 1a and lvl 31+ is a requirement to enjoy the game, only because the playerbase has become so low.

People complain because they need something to complain about, and nothing else. I can remember everyone in game complaining about how thieves were way too overpowered, and dotw needed to be nerfed for people to be happy. Well guess what? People are still complaining now because dotw isnt good enough anymore. None of you will ever be happy with what you have, bottom line. So you will complain and complain until you think you are going to get what you want.

And thats just the beauty of free speach Alex, im allowed to freely post anywhere i choose and speak my mind, if you dont like it that's too bad, but it's not my problem, or a problem in general, you can/should just take my opinion for what it is, an opinion, much like yours. I also seem to recall you quitting like a dozen times, hypocritical much?

My post was intended to be a piece of advice towards those who still play, most of you think you deserve everything under the sun, when in reality as i stated in my previous post, most times player attitude merrits no good will. You should be thankful that you even still have a FREE game to play, do players even realise that new areas and updates etc dont just come out of thin air? Real people work on this game to make it enjoyable, and there is never even as much as common courtesy shown from the majority of you.

Anyways, the reason its high probability to get pked is because the gold drop was that high, and as such people were always farming it, which in turn attracted pkers.

I would quote more, but i couldn't be arsed. The risk diminishes when you stop rewarding it as much. Less gold that dude gives, the less people farm it, the less pkers come there, the less risk it is to farm there...and so on.

There's so many other places to make so much more gold. Yet you guys are so concerned with gardner gold being nerf'd. If you put forth the effort in gold making, that you put forth in complaining, you would all be rich nm players. Regardless of what staff does, "It's not good enough".

Is this one of those, if we cry about it enough, it'll get changed things?

Gardner gold was changed not because of the ratio but because people would leave a 31 thief there just to log on and kill it every few mins while Golding somewhere else on there main.

Other players can't see your warn levels, so they're not a badge of dishonour unless you actually hit 100% and get banned. Good deeds may get you -10% on your meters. Relax!

As far as the desert comment goes, well, desert sucks to train in, so you can't really compare other areas against it. Also sucks to hunt people in, so the same comment applies. Finally, why on earth is anyone bothering to argue with JP, he's right by default <3
