Is it just me or when you cuss in open chat.... you don't get a warning... you get banned... When your all alone.... no one is around... you are at 1 hp and say d*mnit! and BOOM!!! what are the odds that the staff was RIGHT THERE ON THE SAME SQUARE??? I said it to a friend of mine I have known forever.... and I doubt Morbidfury turned me in to Aidon.....its just sick!!! The Compban bunny thing at SGH probly is the thing that scans the text for key words but.... isn't that a lil extreme? shouldn't there be variables or... warnings? /me is banned for the day... "and it sucks"....."and it ruined my shiney perfect record"....

Neithers coc+k, but i got banned for yellin it inside clan house. Don't be hatin on staff, just don't curse in an area other than clan house. Save it for friend, enemy, and clan, so long as no one minds.

Just.... don't swear... although if you do it in friend/enemy/clan.... ect that is fine. JLH has.... even told me, that if someone... doesn't like it they.... can just.... remove/leave. And no ....damn isn't a swear word.....

What I find funny is that word wasn't the word he got banned for.

As for the basic idea of cussing/banning, etc:

From now on I will be monitoring all chat quite a bit more often. I will not be giving warnings, it will just be a dayban at first offense. Offenses afterwards will get you longer and longer daybans until eventually I will have you perm banned. I am tired of all the crap going on in game, between cussing, whining, and players treating each other like trash. If you are heckling someone beyind mere fun, which is my judgement call, then you WILL find yourself banned. Treat each other with respect and play the freaking game. This bullocks of acting to each other like they are some kind of stress dummy, made for you to vent anger has got to stop!

Play the game, have fun, and don't step on each other's toes. If you can't play the game and have fun without acting like a bunghole, then leave.

I do not find it fair, Aidon, that you promise ban someone for cursing in Friend, Enemy, or Clan chat, as it is a private chat, and those who do not like it can leave/remove you if they wish.

Aidon, alot of ppl do cuss a bit in friend/enemy chat, as well as clan, does that mean if you see a "flagged" word on your screen, its imediate dayban? A little more insite would be nice, since i only allow a select few on my friend/enemy. I can understand and would accept any ban if caught using foul language in general chat, no problem whatsoever there. But enlighten me a bit more about the other chat modes please

I am pretty sure that he will see the difference between it all being in good fun on fc and dissing someone. I trust Aidon to make fair judgements there and appreciate the effort. It's high time for this kind of action.

Once again if you reread my post, I did not once say I would ban for friend/enemy, or clan. Yes I will be monitoring them, because the only command I have is to monitor certain people's chat, or all chat of the game in entirety. ONLY open chat or pages which the person finds offensive will be banned. Say what you ant in the others, for if you personally do not like what someone is saying in friend/enemy then remove them. If you do not like your clan chat, then either turn it off, leave the clan, or boot the member which is causing the offense.

since players complain in the other threads about player attitudes, my staff are now banning harshly to try and restore some form of order and "niceness" among the players.

omg of course ive said it in school and i never got in trouble because its not a swear word its part of the human body. You can ask anyone and they would tell you i never swear so why would i start now ?
